절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	나는 여러분이 알기를 바랍니다. 여러분과 라오디게아에 있는 분들과 내 얼굴을 직접 보지 못한 모든 분들을 위한 나의 싸움이 얼마나 치열한지를요!	For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
2	나의 목적은 그들의 마음이 용기를 얻고 사랑 안에서 함께 연결되도록 하는 것입니다. 그리하여 확신에 찬 통찰력이 모든 면에서 풍부해지고, 하나님의 비밀인 그리스도를 온전히 깨달아 알게 하는 것입니다.	That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
3	그리스도 안에 지혜와 지식의 모든 보물이 감추어져 있습니다.	In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4	내가 이 말을 하는 것은 아무도 그럴듯한 말로 여러분을 속여 먹지 못하게 하려는 것입니다.	And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
5	내가 비록 육신으로는 떠나 있지만, 영으로는 여러분과 함께 있으니까요. 나는 여러분이 자기 자리를 지키며 사는 것과 여러분이 그리스도를 굳게 믿고 있는 것을 기뻐하며 보고 있습니다.	For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
6	세상의 초보 원리가 아니라 그리스도를 따라 살아가라 그러므로 여러분이 그리스도 예수님, 곧 주님을 맞아들였으니 주님 안에서 살아가십시오.	As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7	주님 안에 뿌리가 내려지고 든든히 세워져서, 가르침받은 대로 믿음에서 튼튼해지십시오. 감사가 넘치게 하십시오.	Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8	조심하십시오. 아무도 여러분을 철학이나 헛된 속임수로 사로잡아 가지 못하도록 하십시오. 그것들은 사람들이 전해 준 전통에 따른 것입니다. 세상의 초보 원리를 따른 것이지 그리스도를 따른 것이 아닙니다.	Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9	그리스도 안에는 온전히 가득한 신성이 몸의 형태로 자리 잡고 있기 때문입니다.	For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10	여러분은 그리스도 안에서 가득히 채움을 받았습니다. 그리스도께서는 모든 지배권과 권한의 머리이십니다.	And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11	또한 그리스도 안에서 여러분은 할례도 받았습니다. 그런데 그 할례는 손으로 한 것이 아닙니다. 육신의 몸을 벗어 버리는 것, 곧 그리스도께서 행하시는 할례입니다.	In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12	세례를 받음으로 여러분은 그리스도와 함께 묻혔습니다. 또한 그리스도 안에서 여러분은 함께 일으킴받아 살아났습니다. 죽은 사람들 가운데서 그리스도를 일으켜 살리신 하나님의 일하심을 믿은 덕분이지요.	Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13	여러분은 여러분이 저지른 여러 잘못 때문에, 또 육신의 할례를 받지 않은 탓에 죽은 사람들이었습니다. 그런데도 하나님이 여러분에게 그리스도와 함께 생명을 누리게 해 주셨습니다. 우리의 모든 잘못을 은혜로 용서해 주셨습니다.	And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14	하나님은 우리를 거슬러 손으로 적어 둔 빚 문서, 여러 조항으로 된 문서를 문질러 지우셨습니다. 그것은 우리에게 적대적인 것이었지요. 그런데 그것을 십자가에 못 박아서, 우리 가운데서 치워 버리신 것입니다.	Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15	지배자들과 권력자들의 무장을 벗기시고 공개적으로 그들을 구경거리로 삼으셨습니다. 그리스도께서 이기고 돌아오는 개선 행렬에서 그들을 끌고 가셨지요.	And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16	그리스도께서 주신 자유를 빼앗기지 마라 그러므로 아무도 여러분을 판가름하지 못하게 하시기 바랍니다. 먹는 일 때문에 그리고 마시는 일 때문에, 또는 명절이나 초하룻날 축제나 안식일 지키는 일 때문에 말입니다.	Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17	그런 것들은 장차 일어날 일들의 그림자입니다. 실체는 그리스도께 속해 있습니다.	Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
18	아무도 금욕 생활과 천사 숭배를 들먹이면서 여러분에게 불리한 판정을 내리지 못하도록 하시기 바랍니다. 그런 사람은 자기가 본 환상들에 푹 빠져서 까닭 없이 자신의 육신적인 생각으로 우쭐해 있는 것입니다.	Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19	그는 머리를 붙들고 있지 않습니다. 그러나 온몸은 머리에 붙어서 여러 관절과 힘줄을 통하여 영양을 공급받으며 함께 연결되어 자랍니다. 하나님이 자라게 하시는 대로 말이지요.	And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
20	세상의 초보 원리에 속지 마라 여러분은 그리스도와 함께 죽어서 세상의 초보 원리들에서 벗어났습니다. 그런데도 왜 세상 속에서 사는 것처럼 문서 규정에 굴복합니까?	Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21	‘만지지 마라. 맛보지도 마라. 건드리지도 마라.’ 따위의 규정들을 왜 따르고 있습니까?	(Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22	그것들 모두는 써 버리고 나면 썩게 될 것들로, 사람들의 명령과 가르침에 따른 것들입니다.	Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
23	그 규정들은 스스로 만든 종교나 금욕 생활이나 몸을 학대하는 것을 내세우면서 말로는 지혜롭게 들립니다. 그러나 육신의 욕망에 빠지는 것을 막는 데는 아무런 값어치가 없습니다.	Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
