절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	하나님이 복음의 빛을 비추시다 이런 까닭에, 우리가 불쌍히 여기심을 받은 대로 이 직무를 맡았으니, 우리는 기죽지 않습니다.	Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2	오히려 우리는 숨겨진 부끄러운 일들을 내버렸습니다. 나쁜 꾀를 부리며 살아가지 않고 하나님의 말씀을 왜곡시키지도 않습니다. 오히려 진리를 드러냄으로써 하나님 앞에서 모든 사람의 양심에다 우리 스스로를 추천합니다.	But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3	우리의 복음이 가려져 있다면, 멸망하는 사람들에게 가려져 있는 것입니다.	But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4	그들의 경우를 두고 말한다면, 믿지 않는 사람들의 생각을 이 세대의 신이 어둡게 했습니다. 그래서 복음의 빛, 곧 그리스도의 영광을 비추는 빛을 보지 못하게 했습니다. 그리스도께서는 하나님의 형상이십니다.	In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5	우리가 선포하는 것은 우리 자신들이 아닙니다. 예수 그리스도께서 주님이시고, 우리 자신들은 예수님 때문에 여러분의 종이라고 선포하는 것입니다.	For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6	“어둠 속에 빛이 비쳐라.” 하고 말씀하신 하나님, 그분이 우리 마음속에도 빛을 비추셔서, 예수 그리스도의 얼굴에서 하나님의 영광을 알아차리는 지식의 빛을 주셨기 때문입니다.	For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7	흙그릇에 담겨 있는 보물 우리는 이 보물을 흙그릇에 담아 간직하고 있습니다. 이렇게 하여 더할 나위 없는 능력은 하나님께 속한 것이지 우리한테서 나는 것이 아니라는 사실이 드러납니다.	But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8	모든 면에서 우리가 억압을 당하지만 옴짝달싹 못 하게 되지는 않으며, 어쩔 줄 모를 때가 있지만 절망하지는 않습니다.	We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9	우리가 박해를 받지만 완전히 버림받지는 않으며, 내동댕이쳐지기도 하지만 망하지는 않습니다.	Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10	언제나 우리는 예수님의 죽으심을 몸에 지고 여기저기로 다닙니다. 그것은 예수님의 생명도 우리 몸에 나타나도록 하기 위해서입니다.	Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11	우리, 곧 우리 살아 있는 사람들은 예수님 때문에 늘 죽음에 넘겨집니다. 그것은 예수님의 생명 또한 우리의 죽을 몸뚱이에 나타나도록 하기 위해서입니다.	For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12	그리하여 죽음은 우리 가운데서 활발하게 일하고, 생명은 여러분 가운데서 활발하게 일하고 있습니다.	So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13	우리가 똑같은 믿음의 영을 가지고 있습니다. “나는 믿었다. 그러므로 나는 말했다.” 하고 성경에 적혀 있는 대로입니다. 따라서 우리 자신들도 믿습니다. 그러므로 우리도 말합니다.	We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
14	우리가 알기 때문입니다. 주 예수님을 일으켜 살리신 분이 우리도 예수님과 함께 일으켜 살리시며, 여러분과 함께 나란히 그 앞에 서게 하실 것을요.	Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15	이 모든 일은 다 여러분을 위한 것입니다. 은혜가 더 많은 사람들에게 퍼져 나가서 감사를 넘쳐 나게 하고, 그리하여 하나님께 영광을 돌리게 하려는 것입니다.	For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16	우리가 누릴 영원하고 대단한 영광 그러므로 우리는 기죽지 않습니다. 우리의 겉사람은 썩어지더라도, 오히려 우리의 속사람은 나날이 새로워집니다.	For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17	우리가 잠시 동안 겪는 별것 아닌 지금의 고난이 상상을 초월하는 영원하고 대단한 영광을 우리에게 가져다주니 말입니다.	For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18	우리가 집중해서 바라보는 것은 보이는 것들이 아니라 보이지 않는 것들입니다. 보이는 것들은 잠깐 있다가 사라지지만, 보이지 않는 것들은 영원하기 때문입니다.	While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
