1	시샘과 분쟁이 코린트 성도들의 부족을 드러내다 나로서는, 형제자매 여러분, 영적인 사람들에게 하듯이 여러분에게 말할 수 없었습니다. 대신 육적인 사람들, 곧 그리스도 안에 있는 젖먹이들에게 하듯이 말했습니다.	And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
2	나는 여러분에게 젖을 먹게 하고, 단단한 음식은 주지 않았습니다. 여러분이 아직 단단한 음식을 소화할 수 없었으니까요. 그런데 여러분은 지금까지도 소화할 수 없습니다.	I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
3	아직도 여러분은 육적인 사람입니다. 여러분 가운데 시샘과 분쟁이 있는 걸 보면, 여러분이 육적인 사람 아닌가요? 사람의 방식대로 살아가고 있는 것 아닙니까?	For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
4	어떤 사람은 “나는 바울 편이다.” 하고, 다른 사람은 “나는 아폴로 편이다.” 하고 말할 때, 여러분이 그저 사람인 것 아닌가요?	For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
5	바울과 아폴로는 섬기는 사람들이다 그러면 아폴로는 무엇입니까? 바울은 무엇입니까? 섬기는 일꾼들입니다. 이들을 통해 여러분이 믿게 되었습니다. 우리는 저마다 주님이 맡겨 주신 대로 일했습니다.	Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
6	나는 심었고, 아폴로는 물을 주었습니다. 그러나 하나님이 자라나게 하셨습니다.	I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7	그러니 심는 사람이나 물을 주는 사람은 별것 아닙니다. 자라나게 하시는 분이신 하나님이 중요합니다.	So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8	심는 사람과 물을 주는 사람은 매한가지입니다. 그러나 저마다 자기가 수고한 대로 자기 품값을 받을 겁니다.	Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
9	우리는 하나님과 함께 일하는 사람들입니다. 여러분은 하나님이 가꾸신 밭이며, 하나님이 세우신 건물입니다.	For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
10	저마다 한 일이 심판 날에 드러날 것이다 나에게 주신 하나님의 은혜를 따라서, 나는 지혜로운 건축가처럼 기초를 놓았습니다. 그런데 다른 사람이 그 기초 위에 건물을 세우고 있습니다. 하지만 저마다 어떻게 세울지 조심해야 합니다.	According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11	다른 기초를 그 누구도, 이미 놓인 기초 옆에다가 놓을 수 없습니다. 이미 놓인 기초는 예수 그리스도이십니다.	For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12	어떤 사람이 그 기초 위에 금이나 은이나 여러 보석이나 나무나 풀이나 지푸라기로 건물을 세운다고 해 봅시다.	Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13	결국 저마다 한 일이 분명히 드러날 겁니다. 심판의 날이 똑똑히 보여 줄 테니까요. 그것이 불속에서 드러나기 때문입니다. 저마다 한 일이 어떠한 것인지 바로 그 불이 밝혀낼 겁니다.	Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14	어떤 사람이 그 기초 위에 세워 놓은 일의 결과가 남아 있으면, 그는 품값을 받을 겁니다.	If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15	어떤 사람이 해 놓은 일의 결과가 싹 타 버리면, 손해를 입을 겁니다. 그 자신은 구원을 받을 테지만 불속을 거쳐 나온 것과 같을 겁니다.	If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
16	여러분은 알지 못합니까, 여러분이 하나님의 성전이며, 하나님의 영이 여러분 가운데 자리 잡고 살고 계시다는 것을요?	Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17	어떤 사람이 하나님의 성전을 망치면, 하나님이 그 사람을 멸망시키실 것입니다. 하나님의 성전은 거룩하니까요. 여러분이야말로 성전입니다.	If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
18	사람을 자랑해서는 안 된다 아무도 스스로를 속이지 마십시오. 여러분 가운데 어떤 사람이 이 세대에서 스스로를 지혜롭다고 생각한다면, 바보스러워지십시오. 정말로 지혜로워지기 위해서는요.	Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
19	이 세상의 지혜는 하나님 앞에서는 바보스러운 것이니까요. 성경에 이렇게 적혀 있습니다. “그분은 지혜로운 사람들을 자기 꾀에 빠지게 하신다네.”	For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
20	이렇게도 적혀 있습니다. “주님은 알고 계십니다, 지혜로운 사람들의 생각들을, 그것들이 헛되다는 것을.”	And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
21	그러므로 아무도 사람을 자랑하지 마십시오. 사실 모든 것이 여러분의 것이니까요.	Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
22	바울이나 아폴로나 게바나, 세상이나 삶이나 죽음이나, 지금 있는 것이나 앞으로 올 것이나, 모든 것이 여러분의 것입니다.	Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
23	그런데 여러분 자신들은 그리스도의 것이고, 그리스도께서는 하나님의 것입니다.	And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.
