절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	여러분은 나를 그대로 따라 하는 사람들이 되십시오. 나도 역시 그리스도를 그대로 따라 한 것처럼요!	Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
2	예배 때 여자가 머리를 덮어 가리는 문제에 대하여 나는 여러분을 칭찬합니다. 여러분이 모든 면에서 나를 기억하고 있으며, 내가 여러분에게 전해 준 대로 전통들을 굳게 붙잡고 있으니까요.	Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
3	그런데 나는 여러분이 알기를 바랍니다. 모든 남자의 머리는 그리스도이시고, 여자의 머리는 남자이며, 그리스도의 머리는 하나님이시라는 것을 말입니다.	But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4	어떤 남자든 기도하거나 예언할 때 머리를 가린다면, 그는 자기 머리를 창피하게 하는 겁니다.	Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5	어떤 여자든 기도하거나 예언할 때 머리를 덮어 가리지 않으면 그는 자기 머리를 창피하게 하는 겁니다. 그것은 머리를 밀어 버린 것과 매한가지이니까요.	But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6	여자가 머리를 덮어 가리지 않으려면 깎아 버려야 합니다. 머리를 깎거나 미는 것이 여자에게 창피한 일이라면, 덮어 가려야 합니다.	For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
7	남자는 머리를 덮어 가려서는 안 됩니다. 그는 하나님의 모습과 영광이니까요. 한편 여자는 남자의 영광입니다.	For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
8	남자가 여자한테서 난 게 아니라 여자가 남자한테서 났으니까요.	For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
9	여자를 위해서 남자가 창조된 것이 아니라 남자를 위해서 여자가 창조되었으니까요.	Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
10	이런 까닭에 여자는 천사들 때문에 자기 머리에 권위의 표를 지녀야 합니다.	For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
11	그러나 주님 안에서는 남자 없이 여자가 있지 않고, 여자 없이 남자가 있지도 않습니다.	Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
12	여자가 남자한테서 난 것처럼, 꼭 마찬가지로 남자도 여자를 통해서 났으니까요. 그런데 모든 것은 하나님으로부터 나옵니다.	For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
13	여러분 스스로 판단해 보세요. 여자가 머리를 덮어 가리지 않고 하나님께 기도하는 것이 적절한 일입니까?	Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
14	자연 그 자체도 여러분에게 가르쳐 주지 않습니까? 남자가 긴 머리를 하는 것은 수치스러운 일 아닙니까?	Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
15	그러나 여자가 긴 머리를 하는 것은 영광스러운 일 아닙니까? 긴 머리는 여자에게 머리 두르개 대신 주신 것이니까요.	But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
16	누군가는 이 문제를 두고 논쟁을 벌여 보고 싶다는 생각을 할 수도 있습니다. 그렇지만 우리 자신들에게는 그러한 관례가 없고 하나님의 교회들에도 없습니다.	But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
17	함께 모여 먹을 때 생겨난 문제에 대하여 이제 내가 명하려는 일을 두고서는 여러분을 칭찬할 수 없습니다. 여러분이 함께 모여서 하는 일이 더 좋은 결과를 낳는 것이 아니라 더 나쁜 결과를 낳기 때문입니다.	Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
18	첫째로, 여러분이 교회에 함께 모일 때, 나는 여러분 가운데 분열이 있다는 소문을 듣고 있습니다. 그리고 어느 정도는 그 소문을 믿고 있습니다.	For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
19	하기야 여러분 가운데 분파들도 있어야 여러분 가운데서 옳다고 인정받는 사람들도 드러나게 될 터이니까요.	For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
20	그러므로 여러분이 한자리에 함께 모여서 먹는다고 해도 그것은 주님의 만찬을 먹는 것이 아닙니다.	When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s supper.
21	먹을 때에 저마다 자신의 음식을 먼저 먹기 때문입니다. 그러다 보니 어떤 사람은 배고프고 어떤 사람은 취합니다.	For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
22	여러분에게 먹고 마실 집이 없는 게 아니잖습니까? 아니면 하나님의 교회를 깔보는 겁니까? 가진 것이 없는 사람들을 창피 주는 겁니까? 내가 여러분에게 무슨 말을 해야 하겠습니까? 여러분을 칭찬해야 할까요? 이 일에 대해서는 칭찬할 수 없습니다!	What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
23	주님의 만찬에 대하여 나는, 주님한테서 전해 받은 그것을 또한 여러분에게 전해 주었습니다. 주 예수님은 넘겨지시던 밤에 빵을 집어 들었습니다.	For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24	그리고 감사드리신 다음 빵을 떼시고 말씀하셨습니다. “이것은 여러분을 위한 내 몸입니다. 여러분은 이 일을 행하여 나를 기억하세요.”	And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25	잡수신 뒤에 잔을 두고도 마찬가지 일을 하시고 말씀하셨습니다. “이 잔은 내 피로 맺은 새 언약입니다. 여러분이 마실 때마다 이 일을 행하여 나를 기억하세요!”	After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26	여러분은 이 빵을 먹고 이 잔을 마실 때마다 주님의 죽으심을 주님이 오실 때까지 널리 알리는 것이니까요.	For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
27	주님의 만찬을 먹을 때 점검할 일 그러므로 누구든지 부적절하게 그 빵을 먹거나 주님의 잔을 마시는 사람은 주님의 몸과 피를 거스르는 잘못을 저지르게 됩니다.	Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28	각 사람은 스스로를 점검해 보아야 합니다. 이렇게 하고 나서 빵을 먹고 잔을 마셔야 합니다.	But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29	그 몸을 분별하지 않고 먹고 마시는 사람은 자기에게 내릴 심판을 먹고 마시는 셈이기 때문입니다.	For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
30	이런 까닭에 여러분 가운데는 약한 사람과 앓는 사람이 많고, 또 잠든 사람이 꽤 많습니다.	For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31	우리가 스스로를 제대로 살핀다면 심판받지 않을 겁니다.	For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32	그러나 우리가 주님께 심판을 받더라도 그것은 징계를 받는 것입니다. 우리가 세상과 함께 죄 있다고 판가름받지 않도록 말입니다.	But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
33	그러니까, 나의 형제자매 여러분, 먹으려고 함께 모일 때는 서로를 기다려 주세요.	Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
34	누군가 배고프면 집에서 드시기 바랍니다. 여러분이 함께 모일 때에 그것이 심판받는 일이 되지 않도록 말입니다. 그 밖의 일들은 내가 갈 때에 정리하겠습니다.	And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
