|---|---|---|
Langenxa yalokho inhliziyo yami iyathuthumela, yeqe endaweni yayo. | At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.
Zwana lokuzwa umdumo welizwi lakhe, lomsindo ophuma emlonyeni wakhe. | Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.
Uyakukhulula ngaphansi kwamazulu wonke, lokukhanya kwakhe kuze kube semikhawulweni yomhlaba. | He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
Emva kwalokho kubhonga ilizwi, uyaduma ngelizwi lokuphakama kwakhe, angakunqandi lapho kuzwakala ilizwi lakhe. | After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
UNkulunkulu uyaduma ngelizwi lakhe ngokumangalisayo kakhulu, wenza izinto ezinkulu, esingeziqedisise. | God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
Ngoba kuliqhwa elikhithikileyo uthi: Woba semhlabeni; lakuzihlambo zezulu, lakuzihlambo zezulu elikhulu lamandla akhe. | For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
Uyanamathelisa isandla somuntu wonke, ukuze bazi bonke abantu bomsebenzi wakhe. | He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.
Inyamazana ziyangena emihomeni yazo, zihlale ezikhundleni zazo. | Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.
Isivunguzane siphuma ekamelweni leningizimu, lomqando emimoyeni yenyakatho. | Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.
Ngomoya kaNkulunkulu kunikwa ungqwaqwane, lamanzi abanzi abe yilitshe. | By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
Njalo uthwalisa amayezi ngobumanzi, ahlakaze iyezi lokukhanya kwakhe. | Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
Njalo lona liyajikajika liphenduka ngokuqondisa kwakhe, ukuze enze konke awalaye khona, ebusweni bomhlaba emhlabathini. | And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
Loba ngoswazi, loba ngomhlaba wakhe, loba ngomusa, uyakufikisa. | He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
Beka indlebe kukho, Jobe; mana, unanzelele imisebenzi emangalisayo kaNkulunkulu. | Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
Uyazi yini ukuthi uNkulunkulu uwalungisa nini, enze ukukhanya kwamayezi akhe kukhanye? | Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
Uyazi yini ukulengiswa kwamayezi, izimangaliso zopheleleyo elwazini? | Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
Ukuthi izigqoko zakho zikhudumala njani, ekuthuliseni umhlaba ngomoya weningizimu? | How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
Uwendlalile yini amayezi kanye laye, aqine njengesibuko esibunjiweyo ngokuncibilikisa? | Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
Sifundise ukuthi sizakuthini kuye; singeke silungise lutho ngenxa yomnyama. | Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
Kungalandiswa kuye yini ukuthi ngiyakhuluma? Uba umuntu engakhuluma, isibili uzaginywa. | Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
Khathesi-ke kabakuboni ukukhanya okubenyezelayo okusemayezini, lapho umoya udlula uwahlambulula. | And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Igolide livela enyakatho. KuNkulunkulu kulobukhosi obesabekayo. | Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
USomandla singemfumane; uphakeme ngamandla, langokwahlulela, njalo mkhulu ngokulunga; kacindezeli. | Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
Ngakho abantu bayamesaba; kanaki wonke owabahlakaniphileyo ngenhliziyo. | Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
