| 2 | Εξουσία και φόβος είναι μετ' αυτού· εκτελεί ειρήνην εις τα ύψη αυτού. | Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places. |
| 3 | Υπάρχει αριθμός των στρατευμάτων αυτού; και επί τίνα δεν ανατέλλει το φως αυτού; | Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise? |
| 4 | Πως λοιπόν δύναται άνθρωπος να δικαιωθή ενώπιον του Θεού; ή πως δύναται να ήναι καθαρός ο γεγεννημένος εκ γυναικός; | How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? |
| 5 | Ιδού, και αυτή η σελήνη δεν είναι λαμπρά, και οι αστέρες δεν είναι καθαροί ενώπιον αυτού. | Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight. |
| 6 | Πόσον ολιγώτερον ο άνθρωπος, σαπρία; και ο υιός του ανθρώπου, ο σκώληξ; | How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm? |
