| 2 | Mahareta amin’ ny fivavahana, ka miambena amin’ izany amin’ ny fisaorana, | Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; |
| 3 | ary mangataha koa ho anay, mba hamohan’ Andriamanitra varavarana ho an’ ny teny hilazanay ny zava-niafina izay an’ i Kristy, sady izany no namatorana ahy, | Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: |
