| 2 | Seigneur, écoute ma voix ! que tes oreilles soient attentives à la voix de mes supplications. | Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. |
| 3 | Ô Eternel ! si tu prends garde aux iniquités, Seigneur, qui est-ce qui subsistera ? | If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? |
| 4 | Mais il y a pardon par-devers toi, afin que tu sois craint. | But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. |
| 5 | J'ai attendu l'Eternel ; mon âme l'a attendu, et j'ai eu mon attente en sa parole. | I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. |
