| 2 | Voici, comme les yeux des serviteurs regardent à la main de leurs maîtres ; et comme les yeux de la servante regardent à la main de sa maîtresse ; ainsi nos yeux regardent à l'Eternel notre Dieu, jusqu'à ce qu'il ait pitié de nous. | Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us. |
| 3 | Aie pitié de nous, ô Eternel ! aie pitié de nous ; car nous avons été accablés de mépris. | Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt. |
