| 1 | ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൎത്താവായ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമം ഭൂമിയിലൊക്കെയും എത്ര ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായിരിക്കുന്നു! നീ ആകാശത്തിൽ നിന്റെ തേജസ്സു വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. |
| 2 | നിന്റെ വൈരികൾനിമിത്തം, ശത്രുവിനെയും പകയനെയും മിണ്ടാതാക്കുവാൻ തന്നേ, നീ ശിശുക്കളുടെയും മുലകുടിക്കുന്നവരുടെയും വായിൽനിന്നു ബലം നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. |
| 3 | നിന്റെ വിരലുകളുടെ പണിയായ ആകാശത്തെയും നീ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ചന്ദ്രനെയും നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെയും നോക്കുമ്പോൾ, | When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; |
| 4 | മൎത്യനെ നീ ഓൎക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻഎന്തു? മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ സന്ദൎശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ എന്തുമാത്രം? | What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? |
| 5 | നീ അവനെ ദൈവത്തെക്കാൾ അല്പം മാത്രം താഴ്ത്തി, തേജസ്സും ബഹുമാനവും അവനെ അണിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. |
| 6 | നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾക്കു നീ അവനെ അധിപതിയാക്കി, സകലത്തെയും അവന്റെ കാൽകീഴെയാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; | Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: |
| 7 | ആടുകളെയും കാളകളെയും എല്ലാം കാട്ടിലെ മൃഗങ്ങളെയൊക്കെയും | All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; |
| 8 | ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളെയും സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെയും സമുദ്രമാൎഗ്ഗങ്ങളിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന സകലത്തെയും തന്നേ. | The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. |
