1	—	Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2	Morgenlied in böser Zeit / Ein Psalm Davids, als er vor seinem Sohn Absalom floh. Ach, Herr, wie sind meiner Feinde so viel und erheben sich so viele wider mich!	Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3	Viele sagen von mir: Er hat keine Hilfe bei Gott. SELA.	But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4	Aber du, Herr, bist der Schild für mich, du bist meine Ehre und hebst mein Haupt empor.	I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5	Ich rufe mit meiner Stimme zum Herrn, so erhört er mich von seinem heiligen Berge. SELA.	I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.
6	Ich liege und schlafe und erwache; denn der Herr hält mich.	I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7	Ich fürchte mich nicht vor vielen Tausenden, die sich ringsum wider mich legen.	Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8	Auf, Herr, und hilf mir, mein Gott! / Denn du schlägst alle meine Feinde auf die Backe und zerschmetterst der Frevler Zähne.	Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
9	Bei dem Herrn findet man Hilfe. Dein Segen komme über dein Volk! SELA.	—
