1 오 나의 힘이 되시는 주여, 내가 주를 사랑하리이다. I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 주는 나의 반석이시요, 나의 요새시요, 나의 구출자시요, 나의 하나님이시요, 내가 신뢰할 나의 힘이시요, 나의 방패시요, 나의 구원의 뿔이시요, 나의 높은 망대시로다. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3 찬양 받기에 합당하신 주를 내가 부르리니 이로써 내가 내 원수들에게서 구원을 받으리로다. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
4 사망의 고통이 나를 에워싸고 경건치 아니한 자들의 홍수가 나를 무섭게 하였으며 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
5 지옥의 고통이 나를 에워싸고 사망의 올가미들이 나보다 앞서 갔도다. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
6 내가 고통 중에 주를 부르며 나의 하나님께 부르짖으매 그분께서 자신의 성전에서 내 음성을 들으셨고 내 부르짖음이 그분 앞에 이르되 그분의 귀에까지 이르렀도다. In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
7 그때에 땅이 흔들리고 떨었으며 산들의 기초들도 요동하고 흔들렸으니 이는 그분께서 진노하셨기 때문이로다. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
8 그분의 콧구멍에서 연기가 나와 위로 올라가고 그분의 입에서 불이 나와 삼켰으니 그것에 의해 숯이 피었도다. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
9 그분께서 또한 하늘들을 휘시고 내려오시니 어둠이 그분의 발밑에 있었도다. He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.
10 그분께서 그룹을 타고 나셨으니 참으로 바람의 날개들을 타고 나셨도다. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
11 그분께서 어둠을 자신의 은밀한 처소로 삼으셨으니 곧 어두운 물들과 창공의 짙은 구름들이 그분을 둘러싼 그분의 천막이 되었도다. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
12 그분 앞에 있던 광채로 말미암아 그분의 짙은 구름들과 우박들과 불타는 숯들이 사라졌도다. At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.
13 또한 주께서 하늘들에서 천둥소리를 내시고 가장 높으신 이께서 자신의 음성을 주셨으니 곧 우박들과 불타는 숯들이로다. The Lord also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.
14 참으로 그분께서 자신의 화살들을 내보내사 그들을 흩으시고 번개들을 쏘사 그들을 쳐부수셨도다. Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.
15 오 주여, 그때에 주의 꾸짖으심 곧 주의 콧구멍의 숨의 거센 바람으로 말미암아 물들의 바닥들이 보이고 세상의 기초들이 드러났나이다. Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
16 그분께서 위로부터 보내사 나를 붙잡아 주시고 많은 물들에서 나를 끌어내셨으며 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.
17 나의 강한 원수와 나를 미워한 자들에게서 나를 건지셨나니 내가 감당하기에 그들이 너무 강하였도다. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
18 그들이 내 재앙의 날에 나보다 앞서 갔으나 주께서 내 버팀 기둥이 되셨으며 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the Lord was my stay.
19 또 그분께서 나를 넓은 곳으로 데려가시고 나를 기뻐하시므로 나를 건지셨도다. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
20 주께서 내 의에 따라 내게 보상을 주시며 내 손의 깨끗함에 따라 내게 갚아 주셨으니 The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
21 이는 내가 주의 길들을 지키고 사악하게 내 하나님을 떠나지 아니하였기 때문이라. For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22 그분의 모든 판단이 내 앞에 있었나니 내가 그분의 법규들을 버려 내게서 떠나게 하지 아니하였도다. For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.
23 또한 나는 그분 앞에서 곧바르므로 내 자신을 지켜 내 불법에서 떠났나니 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
24 그러므로 주께서 내 의에 따라 내게 갚아 주시되 친히 보시는 대로 내 손의 깨끗함에 따라 내게 갚아 주셨도다. Therefore hath the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
25 긍휼을 베푸는 자에게는 주께서 친히 주의 긍휼을 보이시고 곧바른 자에게는 주께서 친히 주의 곧바르심을 보이시며 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
26 순수한 자에게는 주께서 친히 주의 순수하심을 보이시고 거역하는 자에게는 주께서 친히 주의 적대하심을 보이시리니 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
27 주께서 고난 받는 백성은 구원하시나 교만한 눈빛은 낮추시리이다. For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.
28 주께서 내 등잔불을 켜시리니 주 내 하나님께서 내 어둠을 밝히시리이다. For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
29 내가 주를 힘입어 군대 사이를 달려가며 나의 하나님을 힘입어 담을 뛰어넘었나이다. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
30 하나님으로 말하건대 그분의 길은 완전하고 주의 말씀은 정제되었나니 그분은 자신을 신뢰하는 모든 자에게 방패가 되시는도다. As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
31 주 외에 누가 하나님이리요? 우리 하나님 외에 누가 반석이리요? For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?
32 이 하나님은 곧 능력으로 내게 띠를 두르시며 내 길을 완전하게 하시는 이시로다. It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
33 그분께서 내 발을 암사슴의 발 같게 하시고 나를 나의 높은 곳들에 세우시며 He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
34 내 손을 가르쳐 전쟁하게 하시나니 그러므로 내 팔이 강철로 된 활도 부수었도다. He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
35 또 주께서 주의 구원의 방패를 내게 주시며 주의 오른손이 나를 붙들고 주의 부드러움이 나를 크게 만들었사오며 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
36 주께서 내 밑의 발 디딜 곳을 넓히사 내 발이 미끄러지지 아니하게 하셨나이다. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
37 내가 내 원수들을 쫓아가서 따라잡고 그들이 소멸되기 전에는 되돌아오지 아니하였나이다. I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
38 내가 그들에게 상처를 입혀 그들이 능히 일어나지 못하게 하였더니 그들이 내 발밑에 쓰러졌나이다. I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
39 주께서 전쟁하게 하시려고 능력으로 내게 띠를 두르사 나를 치려고 일어난 자들을 내 밑에 굴복시키셨나이다. For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
40 또 주께서 내 원수들의 목을 내게 주사 나를 미워하는 자들을 내가 멸하게 하셨나이다. Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
41 그들이 부르짖었으나 그들을 구원할 자가 없었고 심지어 주께 부르짖었으나 그분께서 그들에게 응답하지 아니하셨도다. They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the Lord, but he answered them not.
42 그때에 내가 그들을 바람 앞의 티끌처럼 잘게 부수고 거리의 진흙같이 그들을 내던졌도다. Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.
43 주께서 나를 백성의 다툼에서 건지시고 이교도들의 머리로 삼으셨으니 내가 알지 못하던 백성이 나를 섬기리이다. Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
44 그들이 나에 대하여 듣고는 곧 내게 순종하며 낯선 자들이 내게 복종하리로다. As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
45 낯선 자들이 쇠약해지고 자기들의 밀폐된 처소에서 나와 무서워하리로다. The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
46 주는 살아 계시니 나의 반석을 찬송하며 내 구원의 하나님을 높일지어다. The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
47 하나님은 곧 내 원수를 갚아 주시고 백성을 내 밑에 복종하게 하시는 이시로다. It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
48 그분께서 나를 내 원수들에게서 건지시나니 참으로 주께서 나를 치려고 일어나는 자들 위로 나를 드시고 난폭한 자에게서 나를 건지셨나이다. He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
49 그러하온즉, 오 주여, 내가 이교도들 가운데서 주께 감사를 드리며 노래로 주의 이름을 찬양하리이다. Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
50 그분께서 자신의 왕에게 큰 구출을 주시며 자신의 기름 부음 받은 자 곧 다윗과 그의 씨에게 영원토록 긍휼을 베푸시는도다, 하니라. Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
