| 1 | 주께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 2 | 이스라엘 자손에게 명령하여 그들에게 말하라. 너희가 가나안 땅에 들어가는 때에 (이 땅은 너희에게 상속 재산으로 떨어질 땅이니 곧 가나안 땅과 그것의 지경이라.) | Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:) |
| 3 | 너희의 남쪽 영토는 에돔의 지경 옆을 따라 신 광야에서부터며 너희의 남쪽 경계는 동쪽으로 염해의 맨 끝 지경이 될 것이요, | Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward: |
| 4 | 너희 경계가 남쪽에서부터 아그랍빔의 올라가는 비탈로 돌아서 신을 지나리니 거기로 가는 길은 남쪽에서부터 가데스바네아에 이르고 또 하살아달을 지나 아스몬에 이르며 | And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh–barnea, and shall go on to Hazar–addar, and pass on to Azmon: |
| 5 | 그 경계가 아스몬에서 돌아서 이집트의 강에 이르고 나가서 바다에까지 이르리로다. | And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea. |
| 6 | 서편 경계로 말하건대 너희가 대해를 경계로 두리니 이것이 너희의 서쪽 경계가 되리라. | And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border. |
| 7 | 너희의 북쪽 경계는 이러하리라. 너희는 대해에서부터 호르 산까지 너희를 위해 지정하고 | And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor: |
| 8 | 호르 산에서부터 하맛의 입구까지 너희 경계를 지정하라. 그 경계는 나아가서 스닷에 이르리로다. | From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad: |
| 9 | ¶또 그 경계가 시브론을 지나고 나가서 하살에난에 이르리니 이것이 너희의 북쪽 경계가 되리라. | And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazar–enan: this shall be your north border. |
| 10 | 너희는 하살에난에서부터 스밤에 이르기까지 너희의 동쪽 경계를 지정하라. | And ye shall point out your east border from Hazar–enan to Shepham: |
| 11 | 그 지경은 또 스밤에서 리블라로 내려가서 아인의 동쪽 편에 이르고 또 그 경계는 내려가서 동쪽의 긴네렛 해변에 이르며 | And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward: |
| 12 | 또 요르단으로 내려가고 나가서 염해에 이르리니 너희 땅과 그것의 주변 지경이 이러하리라. | And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about. |
| 13 | 모세가 이스라엘 자손에게 명령하여 이르되, 이것은 너희가 제비뽑아 상속할 땅이니라. 주께서 이 땅을 아홉 지파와 반 지파에게 주라고 명령하셨나니 | And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the Lord commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe: |
| 14 | 르우벤 자손 지파는 그들의 조상들의 집에 따라 또 갓 자손 지파도 그들의 조상들의 집에 따라 그들의 상속 재산을 받았고 므낫세 반 지파도 그들의 상속 재산을 받았느니라. | For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance: |
| 15 | 이 두 지파와 반 지파는 동쪽으로 여리고에 가까운 요르단 이편 곧 해 뜨는 편에서 그들의 상속 재산을 받았느니라. | The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising. |
| 16 | 주께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 17 | 너희에게 땅을 나누어 줄 사람들의 이름은 이러하니 곧 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아니라. | These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun. |
| 18 | 또 너희는 상속 재산으로 땅을 나누기 위해 지파마다 통치자 한 명씩을 취하라. | And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance. |
| 19 | 그 사람들의 이름은 이러하니 유다 지파에서는 여분네의 아들 갈렙이요, | And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh. |
| 20 | 시므온 자손의 지파에서는 암미훗의 아들 스무엘이요, | And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud. |
| 21 | 베냐민 지파에서는 기슬론의 아들 엘리닷이요, | Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon. |
| 22 | 단 자손 지파의 통치자는 요글리의 아들 북기요, | And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli. |
| 23 | 요셉 자손의 통치자 곧 므낫세 자손 지파에는 에봇의 아들 한니엘이요, | The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod. |
| 24 | 에브라임 자손 지파의 통치자는 십단의 아들 그무엘이요, | And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan. |
| 25 | 스불론 자손 지파의 통치자는 바르낙의 아들 엘리사반이요, | And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach. |
| 26 | 잇사갈 자손 지파의 통치자는 앗산의 아들 발디엘이요, | And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan. |
| 27 | 아셀 자손 지파의 통치자는 슬로미의 아들 아히훗이요, | And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi. |
| 28 | 납달리 자손 지파의 통치자는 암미훗의 아들 브다헬이니라, 하시니라. | And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud. |
| 29 | 이들은 주께서 명령하사 가나안 땅에서 이스라엘 자손에게 상속 재산을 나누게 하신 자들이니라. | These are they whom the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan. |
