1 주께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 너는 또 이스라엘 자손에게 말하라. 이스라엘 자손에게 속한 자든지 이스라엘 안에 머무는 타국인에게 속한 자든지 자기 씨 중에서 하나라도 몰렉에게 주거든 반드시 그를 죽이되 그 땅의 백성이 그를 돌로 칠 것이요, Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
3 나도 그 사람을 향해 내 얼굴을 고정하고 그를 그의 백성 가운데서 끊으리니 이는 그가 자기 씨 중에서 몰렉에게 주어 내 성소를 더럽히고 내 거룩한 이름을 욕되게 하였기 때문이니라. And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
4 그가 자기 씨 중에서 몰렉에게 줄 때에 그 땅의 백성이 어떤 식으로든 그 사람을 눈감아 주고 그를 죽이지 아니하면 And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
5 내가 그 사람과 그의 가족을 향해 내 얼굴을 고정하고 또 그와 그를 따라 음행의 길로 가며 몰렉과 행음하는 모든 자를 그들의 백성 가운데서 끊으리라. Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
6 ¶부리는 영들을 지닌 자와 마술사를 따라 돌이켜서 음행의 길로 가는 혼에게는 내가 그 혼을 향해 내 얼굴을 고정하고 그를 그의 백성 가운데서 끊으리라. And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
7 ¶그러므로 너희는 너희 자신을 거룩히 구별하여 거룩할지니 나는 주 너희 하나님이니라. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.
8 너희는 내 법규를 지키고 행하라. 나는 너희를 거룩히 구별하는 주니라. And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you.
9 ¶자기 아버지나 어머니를 저주하는 자는 다 반드시 죽일지니 그가 자기 아버지나 어머니를 저주하였은즉 그의 피가 그에게 돌아가리라. For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
10 ¶다른 남자의 아내와 간음하는 남자 곧 자기 이웃의 아내와 간음하는 자가 있을 경우 그 간음한 자와 간음한 여자를 반드시 죽일지니라. And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
11 자기 아버지의 아내와 함께 눕는 남자는 자기 아버지의 벌거벗음을 드러내었은즉 둘 다 반드시 죽일지니 그들의 피가 그들에게 돌아가리라. And the man that lieth with his father’s wife hath uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
12 남자가 자기 며느리와 함께 누우면 둘 다 반드시 죽일지니 그들이 혼돈을 일으켰으므로 그들의 피가 그들에게 돌아가리라. And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
13 또 남자가 여자와 함께 눕듯이 남자와 함께 누우면 둘 다 가증한 짓을 행하였은즉 반드시 그들을 죽일지니 그들의 피가 그들에게 돌아가리라. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
14 남자가 아내와 그녀의 어머니를 취하면 그것은 사악함인즉 그와 그들을 함께 불로 태울지니 이것은 너희 가운데 사악함이 없게 하려 함이니라. And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
15 남자가 짐승과 함께 누우면 반드시 그를 죽이고 너희는 그 짐승도 죽일 것이며 And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
16 여자가 어떤 짐승에게 다가가서 그것을 향해 눕거든 너는 그 여자와 그 짐승을 죽이되 그들을 반드시 죽일지니 그들의 피가 그들에게 돌아가리라. And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
17 남자가 자기 누이 곧 자기 아버지의 딸이나 어머니의 딸을 취하여 그녀의 벌거벗음을 보고 그녀가 그의 벌거벗음을 보면 그것은 사악한 일이니라. 그들이 자기 백성의 눈앞에서 끊어지리니 그가 자기 누이의 벌거벗음을 드러내었은즉 자기 불법을 담당하리라. And if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
18 남자가 생리 중에 있는 여인과 함께 누워 그녀의 벌거벗음을 드러내면 그는 그녀의 근원을 드러내었고 그 여인은 자기의 피 근원을 드러내었은즉 둘 다 자기들의 백성 가운데서 끊어지리라. And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
19 너는 네 이모나 고모의 벌거벗음을 드러내지 말라. 그는 자기의 가까운 친족을 벌거벗기느니라. 그들이 자기 불법을 담당하리라. And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister, nor of thy father’s sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.
20 남자가 자기 숙모와 함께 누우면 그가 자기 삼촌의 벌거벗음을 드러내었은즉 그들이 자기 죄를 담당하여 자식이 없이 죽으리라. And if a man shall lie with his uncle’s wife, he hath uncovered his uncle’s nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
21 남자가 자기 형제의 아내를 취하면 그것은 부정한 일이니라. 그가 자기 형제의 벌거벗음을 드러내었은즉 그들이 자식이 없으리라. And if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they shall be childless.
22 ¶그러므로 너희는 내 모든 법규와 내 모든 판단의 법도를 지켜 행하라. 그리하여야 내가 너희를 데려다가 거하게 하는 그 땅이 너희를 토해 내지 아니하리라. Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
23 너희는 내가 너희 앞에서 쫓아내는 민족의 풍습대로 걷지 말라. 그들이 이 모든 일을 행하였으므로 내가 그들을 몹시 싫어하였느니라. And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
24 그러나 내가 전에 너희에게 이르기를, 너희가 그들의 땅을 상속하리라. 내가 그 땅 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅을 너희에게 주어 소유로 삼게 하리라, 하였나니 나는 너희를 다른 백성으로부터 구별한 주 너희 하나님이니라. But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God, which have separated you from other people.
25 그러므로 너희는 정결한 짐승과 부정한 짐승, 부정한 날짐승과 정결한 날짐승 사이에 구별을 두고 내가 부정한 것으로 여겨 너희로부터 분리시킨 짐승이나 날짐승이나 땅에서 기는 그 어떤 생물로 인하여 너희 혼을 가증한 것으로 만들지 말지니라. Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
26 나 주는 거룩하며 또 내가 너희를 내 소유로 삼으려고 다른 백성으로부터 구별하였으니 너희는 내게 거룩할지니라. And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
27 ¶또한 부리는 영을 지닌 남자나 여자 혹은 마술사인 자는 반드시 죽일지니라. 그들은 그들을 돌로 칠지니 그들의 피가 그들에게 돌아가리라. A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.
