1 백성의 치리자들은 예루살렘에 거하였으며 백성의 남은 자들도 제비를 뽑아 열 명 중 하나는 데려다가 거룩한 도시 예루살렘에 거하게 하고 십분의 구는 다른 도시들에 거하게 하였더니 And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.
2 자원하여 자신을 드려 예루살렘에 거하려 한 모든 사람을 백성이 축복하였더라. And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
3 ¶이제 이들이 예루살렘에 거한 그 지방의 우두머리들이었더라. 그러나 유다의 도시들에서는 이스라엘과 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 느디님 사람들과 솔로몬의 신하들 자손이 각각 자기들의 도시에서 자기 소유에 거하였더라. Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants.
4 예루살렘에 유다 자손과 베냐민 자손 중에서 몇 사람이 거하였더라. 유다 자손 중에서는 베레스 자손에 속한 아다야가 있었는데 그는 웃시야의 아들이요, 스가랴의 손자요, 아마랴의 증손이요, 스바댜의 사대 손이요, 마할랄레엘의 오대 손이며 And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez;
5 또 마아세야가 있었는데 그는 바룩의 아들이요, 골호세의 손자요, 하사야의 증손이요, 아다야의 사대 손이요, 요야립의 오대 손이요, 스가랴의 육대 손이요, 실로니의 칠대 손이더라. And Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Col–hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.
6 예루살렘에 거한 베레스의 모든 아들들은 사백육십팔 명의 용사들이었더라. All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.
7 베냐민의 아들들은 이러하니라. 살루는 므술람의 아들이요, 요엣의 손자요, 브다야의 증손이요, 골라야의 사대 손이요, 마아세야의 오대 손이요, 이디엘의 육대 손이요, 여사야의 칠대 손이며 And these are the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah.
8 그 다음은 갑배와 살래와 구백이십팔 명이었더라. And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.
9 시그리의 아들 요엘이 그들의 감독이 되었고 스누아의 아들 유다는 둘째 인물로 그 도시를 다스렸더라. And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer: and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city.
10 제사장들 중에서는 요야립의 아들 여다야와 야긴과 Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin.
11 스라야가 있었는데 그는 힐기야의 아들이요, 므술람의 손자요, 사독의 증손이요, 므라욧의 사대 손이요, 아히둡의 오대 손으로 하나님의 집의 치리자였더라. Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was the ruler of the house of God.
12 또 그 집에서 일한 그들의 형제들이 팔백이십이 명이요, 또 아다야가 있었는데 그는 여로함의 아들이요, 블랄랴의 손자요, 암시의 증손이요, 스가랴의 사대 손이요, 바스훌의 오대 손이요, 말기야의 육대 손이더라. And their brethren that did the work of the house were eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah,
13 또 그의 형제들로 아버지들의 우두머리들이 이백사십이 명이요, 또 아맛새가 있었는데 그는 아사레엘의 아들이요, 아하새의 손자요, 므실레못의 증손이요, 임멜의 사대 손이더라. And his brethren, chief of the fathers, two hundred forty and two: and Amashai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahasai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,
14 또 그들의 형제들 곧 강한 용사들 백이십팔 명이 있었는데 위대한 자들 중의 하나의 아들인 삽디엘이 그들의 감독이 되었더라. And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men.
15 또한 레위 사람들 중에서는 스마야가 있었는데 그는 하숩의 아들이요, 아스리감의 손자요, 하사비야의 증손이요, 분니의 사대 손이며 Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;
16 또 레위 사람들의 우두머리들 중에서 삽브대와 요사밧이 하나님의 집의 바깥일을 감독하였더라. And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God.
17 또 맛다니야가 있었는데 그는 미가의 아들이요, 삽디의 손자요, 아삽의 증손이더라. 그는 기도할 때에 감사를 드리기 시작하는 으뜸 인물이 되었고 그의 형제들 가운데서 박부기야가 두 번째 인물이 되었으며 또 압다가 있었는데 그는 삼무아의 아들이요, 갈랄의 손자요, 여두둔의 증손이더라. And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
18 거룩한 도시에 있던 레위 사람들이 모두 이백팔십사 명이더라. All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four.
19 또한 문지기들 곧 악굽과 달몬과 성문들을 지킨 그들의 형제들이 백칠십이 명이더라. Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundred seventy and two.
20 ¶이스라엘과 및 제사장들의 나머지와 레위 사람들은 유다의 모든 도시에서 각각 자기의 상속 재산에 거하였으나 And the residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.
21 느디님 사람들은 오벨에 거하였는데 시하와 기스바가 느디님 사람들을 감독하였더라. But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinims.
22 또한 웃시가 예루살렘에 거하는 레위 사람들의 감독이 되었는데 그는 바니의 아들이요, 하사비야의 손자요, 맛다니야의 증손이요, 미가의 사대 손이더라. 아삽의 아들들 중에서 노래하는 자들이 하나님의 집의 일을 감독하였으니 The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God.
23 이는 그들에 관한 왕의 명령이 이러하여 노래하는 자들에게 날마다 일정한 몫을 주어야 하기 때문이었더라. For it was the king’s commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.
24 또 브다히야가 있었는데 그는 므세사벨의 아들이요, 유다의 아들 세라의 자손으로 왕의 손 밑에서 백성에 관한 모든 일을 다스렸더라. And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.
25 마을들과 그것들의 들에 관하여는 유다 자손의 일부가 기럇아르바와 그것의 마을들과 디본과 그것의 마을들과 여갑스엘과 그것의 마을들에 거하였고 And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjath–arba, and in the villages thereof, and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages thereof,
26 또 예수아와 몰라다와 벧벨렛과 And at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Beth–phelet,
27 하살수알과 브엘세바와 그것들의 마을들에 거하였으며 And at Hazar–shual, and at Beer–sheba, and in the villages thereof,
28 또 시글락과 므고나와 그것들의 마을들에 거하였고 And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof,
29 또 에느림몬과 사르아와 야르뭇에 거하였으며 And at En–rimmon, and at Zareah, and at Jarmuth,
30 또 사노아와 아둘람과 그것들의 마을들과 라기스와 그것의 들과 아세가와 그것의 마을들에 거하였으니 그들이 브엘세바에서부터 힌놈의 골짜기까지 거하였더라. Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beer–sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.
31 또한 베냐민 자손은 게바에서부터 믹마스와 아야와 벧엘과 그것들의 마을들에 거하였고 The children also of Benjamin from Geba dwelt at Michmash, and Aija, and Beth–el, and in their villages,
32 아나돗과 놉과 아나냐와 And at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33 하솔과 라마와 깃다임과 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34 하딧과 스보임과 느발랏과 Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35 롯과 오노와 기술자들의 골짜기에 거하였으며 Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.
36 레위 사람들 중에서는 유다에도 분파가 있었고 베냐민에도 있었더라. And of the Levites were divisions in Judah, and in Benjamin.
