절	공동번역 개정판 (1999)	King James Version
1	사회 정의와 사회 복지에 관한 법령 너희는 근거 없는 말을 해서는 안 된다. 죄있는 편에 합세하여 권세 부리는 자들에게 유리한 증언을 하지 마라.	Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
2	다수를 따라 불의에 가담하지 마라. 재판정에서 다수를 따라 그릇된 판결이 내려지도록 증언을 해서는 안 된다.	Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
3	송사에 있어 영세민이라고 해서 사정을 보아주어서도 안 된다.	Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
4	너희는 길을 잃은 원수의 소나 나귀를 만나면 그것을 임자에게 반드시 데려다 주어야 한다.	If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
5	너희를 미워하는 자의 나귀가 짐에 깔려 있는 것을 보면 내버려두지 말고 그 일으켜 세우는 것을 반드시 도와주어야 한다.	If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.
6	너희는 가난한 자가 낸 소송 사건에서 그의 권리를 꺾지 마라.	Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
7	허위 고발을 물리쳐라. 죄없고 올바른 사람을 죽이지 말고 악한 사람에게 무죄를 선고하지 마라.	Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
8	너희는 뇌물을 받지 마라. 뇌물은 멀쩡한 눈을 가려 올바른 사람들의 소송을 뒤엎는다.	And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
9	몸붙여 사는 사람들을 학대하지 말라. 너희도 이집트 땅에서 몸붙여 살아보았으니, 몸붙여 사는 자의 심정을 잘 알지 않느냐?	Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
10	너희는 육 년 동안은 밭에 씨를 뿌려 그 소출을 거두어들이고,	And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:
11	칠 년째 되는 해에는 땅을 놀리고 소출을 그대로 두어 너희 백성 중에서 가난한 자들이 먹게 하고 남은 것은 들짐승이나 먹게 하여라. 너희 포도원도, 올리브 밭도 그렇게 하여라.	But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
12	너희는 엿새 동안 일을 하고, 이레째 되는 날에는 쉬어라. 그래야 너희 소와 나귀도 쉴 수가 있고, 계집종의 자식과 몸붙여 사는 사람도 숨을 돌릴 것이 아니냐?	Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
13	너희는 내가 너희에게 말한 모든 것을 명심하여라. 다른 신들의 이름을 찬양하지 마라. 그런 소리는 입 밖에도 내지 마라.	And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
14	세 큰 축제에 관한 법령 일 년에 세 차례 내 앞에서 축제를 올려라.	Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.
15	누룩 없는 빵을 먹는 무교절을 지켜 내가 명령한 대로 아빕월 지정한 시기에 칠 일간 누룩 없는 빵을 먹어야 한다. 그 달에 너희가 이집트에서 나왔기 때문이다. 내 앞에 빈손으로 나오지 마라.	Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
16	그리고 너희가 밭에 씨를 뿌려서 지은 곡식의 맏물을 바치는 맥추절을 지켜라. 또 농사 지은 것을 밭에서 모두 거두어들이는 연말에는 추수절을 지켜라.	And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
17	너희 남자들은 일 년에 세 번, 모두 주 야훼 앞에 나와야 한다.	Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord God.
18	나에게 희생제물의 피를 바칠 때 누룩 든 빵과 함께 바쳐서는 안 된다. 또한 축제 때 나에게 바친 기름기를 다음날 아침까지 묵혀두어서도 안 된다.	Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
19	너희 밭에서 난 맏물 중에서 제일 좋은 것을 너희 하느님 야훼의 집으로 가져와야 한다. 또 새끼 염소를 그 어미의 젖으로 삶아도 안 된다.	The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
20	약속해 주신 땅에 들어가 해야 할 일들 이제 나는 너희 앞에 천사를 보내어 너희를 도중에 지켜주며 내가 정해 둔 곳으로 너희를 데려가리라.	Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21	너희는 그를 존경하여 그의 소리를 잘 따르고, 거역하지 마라. 그는 너희 잘못을 용서하지 않을 것이다. 그는 나의 대리자이다.	Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
22	너희가 그의 말을 잘 들어, 내가 하라는 대로 실행하기만 하면 나는 너희 원수를 나의 원수로 삼고, 너희 적을 나의 적으로 삼으리라.	But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
23	나의 천사가 앞장을 서서 너희를 아모리족, 헷족, 브리즈족, 가나안족, 히위족, 여부스족이 있는 곳으로 데리고 들어가리라. 내가 그들을 멸종시키겠다.	For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
24	너희는 그들의 신들 앞에 엎드려 그들을 섬기지 말며 그들의 예식을 따라 예배하지도 마라. 오히려 그들의 신상들을 부수고 석상들을 깨뜨려라.	Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
25	너희는 너희 하느님 야훼만 섬겨야 한다. 그러면 나는 너희에게 복을 내려 먹을 빵과 마실 물을 주리라. 너희 가운데서 질병을 쓸어버리리라.	And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26	너희 지경 안에서는 유산하거나 임신하지 못하는 여인이 없으리라. 나는 너희를 명대로 오래 살게 해주리라.	There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
27	나는 너희가 거기에 이르기 전에 내가 얼마나 무서운 존재인가를 거기에 사는 모든 백성에게 미리 알려 모두들 당황하게 만들겠다. 그리하면 너희 모든 원수들이 너희 앞에서 도망치리라.	I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
28	나는 너희 가는 곳에 말벌을 앞질러 보내어 히위족과 가나안족과 헷족을 너희 앞에서 쫓아내겠다.	And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
29	그러나 나는 일 년 안에 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아내지는 않을 것이다. 땅이 황폐해져서 맹수가 들끓어 너희를 해치는 일이 없게 하려는 것이다.	I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
30	너희가 번성하여 그 땅을 다 차지할 때까지 두고두고 나는 그들을 너희 앞에서 쫓아내리라.	By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
31	나는 너희 땅의 경계를 홍해에서 불레셋 앞바다까지, 이 사막에서 유프라테스 강까지로 정하고, 그 안에 사는 주민들을 너희 손에 넘겨주리라. 너희가 그들을 너희 앞에서 쫓아내리라.	And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
32	너희는 그들이나 그들의 신들과 계약을 맺지 마라.	Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
33	그들로 하여금 너희 땅에는 발도 붙이지 못하게 하여라. 그렇게 하지 않으면 너희가 그들의 유혹에 빠져 그들의 신들을 섬기며 나에게 죄를 지을 것이다.'"	They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.
