1	하늘 나라의 예배 그 뒤에 나는 하늘에 문이 하나 열려 있는 것을 보았습니다. 그리고 처음에 내가 들었던 음성, 곧 나에게 말씀하시던 나팔 소리 같은 그 음성이 나에게 "이리로 올라오너라. 이후에 반드시 일어날 일들을 보여주겠다." 하고 말씀하셨습니다.	After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2	그러자 곧 나는 성령의 감동을 받았습니다. 그리고 보니 하늘에는 한 옥좌가 있고 그 옥좌에는 어떤 분이 한 분 앉아 계셨습니다.	And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3	그분의 모습은 벽옥과 홍옥 같았으며 그 옥좌 둘레에는 비취와 같은 무지개가 걸려 있었습니다.	And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4	옥좌 둘레에는 또 높은 좌석이 스물네 개 있었으며, 거기에는 흰 옷을 입고 머리에 금관을 쓴 원로 스물네 명이 앉아 있었습니다.	And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5	그 옥좌에서는 번개가 번쩍였고 요란한 소리와 천둥 소리가 터져 나왔습니다. 그리고 옥좌 앞에서는 일곱 횃불이 훨훨 타고 있었습니다. 그 일곱 횃불은 하느님의 일곱 영신이십니다.	And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6	옥좌 앞은 유리바다 같았고 수정처럼 맑았습니다. 그리고 옥좌 한가운데와 그 둘레에는 앞뒤에 눈이 가득 박힌 생물이 네 마리 도사리고 있었습니다.	And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
7	첫째 생물은 사자와 같았고 둘째 생물은 송아지와 같았으며 셋째 생물은 얼굴이 사람의 얼굴과 같았고 넷째 생물은 날아다니는 독수리와 같았습니다.	And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
8	그 네 생물은 각각 날개를 여섯 개씩 가졌고, 그 몸에는 앞뒤에 눈이 가득 박혀 있었습니다. 그리고 그들은 밤낮 쉬지 않고 "거룩하시다. 거룩하시다. 거룩하시다. 전능하신 주 하느님 전에 계셨고 지금도 계시고 장차 오실 분이시로다!" 하고 외치고 있었습니다.	And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
9	옥좌에 앉으시고 영원 무궁토록 살아 계신 그분에게 그 생물들이 영광과 영예와 감사를 드리고 있을 때	And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
10	스물네 원로는 옥좌에 앉아 계신 그분 앞에 엎드려 영원 무궁토록 살아 계신 그분에게 경배를 드리고 있었습니다. 그리고 자기들의 금관을 벗어서 옥좌 앞에 내놓으며,	The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11	"주님이신 우리 하느님 하느님은 영광과 영예와 권능을 누리실 만한 분이십니다. 주님께서는 모든 것을 창조하셨고 만물이 주님의 뜻에 의해서 생겨났고 또 존재합니다." 하고 찬양했습니다.	Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
