1	솔로몬의 고급 관리들 솔로몬 왕이 온 이스라엘을 다스릴 당시에	So king Solomon was king over all Israel.
2	그의 고급 관리들은 다음과 같았다. 사독의 아들 아자리야는 사제,	And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,
3	시사의 두 아들 엘리호렙과 아히야는 행정관, 아힐룻의 아들 여호사밧은 공보대신,	Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.
4	여호야다의 아들 브나야는 군사령관, 사독과 에비아달은 사제,	And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:
5	나단의 아들 아자리야는 장교를 지휘하는 사람, 나단의 아들 사붓은 왕의 친구로서 사제,	And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king’s friend:
6	아히살은 궁내대신, 압다의 아들 아도니람은 부역 책임자였다.	And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.
7	솔로몬은 또 이스라엘 전국에 십이 지방장관을 두어 왕과 왕실에 양식을 대도록 하였다. 한 사람이 일 년에 한 달씩 양식을 대는 책임을 졌는데,	And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.
8	그들의 명단은 다음과 같았다. 후르의 아들이 에브라임 산악 지대를 맡았고,	And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:
9	데겔의 아들이 마가스, 사알빔, 벳세메스, 엘론 벳 하난을,	The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth–shemesh, and Elon–beth–hanan:
10	헤셋의 아들이 아루봇, 소고, 헤벨 전지역을,	The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:
11	솔로몬의 딸 다밧을 아내로 맞아 부마가 된 아비나답의 아들이 나밧, 도르 전지역을,	The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:
12	아힐룻의 아들 바아나가 다아낙, 므기또, 욕므암 건너편 일대, 이즈르엘에서 내려다보이는 벳스안 전지역과 또 벳스안에서 사르단 곁에 있는 아벨므홀라에 이르기까지,	Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth–shean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Beth–shean to Abel–meholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:
13	게벨의 아들이 라못길르앗을 맡았다. 또 그는 길르앗에 있는 므나쎄의 아들 야이르의 성읍들을 소유했고 바산에 있는 아르곱 지역의 놋빗장과 성곽 있는 육십 성읍을 소유하였다.	The son of Geber, in Ramoth–gilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:
14	이또의 아들 아히나답이 마하나임을 맡았고	Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:
15	솔로몬의 딸 바세맛과 결혼한 아히마즈가 납달리를,	Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:
16	후새의 아들 바아나가 아셀과 브알롯을,	Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:
17	바루아의 아들 여호사밧이 이싸갈을,	Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:
18	엘라의 아들 시므이가 베냐민을,	Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:
19	우리의 아들 게벨이 길르앗 땅, 곧 아모리 왕 시혼과 바산 왕 옥의 땅을 맡았다. 또 유다 땅을 맡은 관리도 따로 있었다.	Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.
20	유다와 이스라엘은 바다의 모래알처럼 인구가 불어났지만 먹고 마시는 일에 아쉬움을 모르며 잘 지냈다.	Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.
21	—	And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
22	—	And Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,
23	—	Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.
24	—	For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.
25	—	And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beer–sheba, all the days of Solomon.
26	—	And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
27	—	And those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon’s table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.
28	—	Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.
29	—	And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.
30	—	And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
31	—	For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.
32	—	And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.
33	—	And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
34	—	And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.
