절	공동번역 개정판 (1999)	King James Version
1	예루살렘으로 돌아온 사람들 이렇게 전 이스라엘이 등록되었는데, 이는 야훼를 배신한 죄로 바빌론에 사로잡혀 갈 당시의 이스라엘 왕조실록과 유다 왕조실록에 기록되어 있다.	So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they were written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, who were carried away to Babylon for their transgression.
2	바빌론에 사로잡혀 갔다가 처음으로 자기네 성읍, 옛 터전에 돌아와 발을 붙인 사람은 이스라엘 일반민 일부와 사제들과 레위인들과 성전 막일꾼들이었다.	Now the first inhabitants that dwelt in their possessions in their cities were, the Israelites, the priests, Levites, and the Nethinims.
3	예루살렘에 자리잡은 것은 유다 후손 일부, 베냐민 후손 일부, 에브라임 후손 일부, 므나쎄 후손 일부였다.	And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh;
4	유다 후손으로는 우대의 일족이 와서 자리잡았는데, 우대의 아버지는 암미훗, 그 윗대는 오므리, 그 윗대는 이므리, 그 윗대는 바니인데, 이 바니는 베레스의 한 아들이고 베레스의 윗대는 유다이다.	Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Pharez the son of Judah.
5	셀란의 후손으로는 맏아들 아사이야와 그의 후손이 와서 자리잡았다.	And of the Shilonites; Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
6	제라의 후손으로는 육백구십 명이나 되는 여우엘 일족이 와서 자리잡았다.	And of the sons of Zerah; Jeuel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7	베냐민 후손으로는 살루 일족이 와서 자리잡았는데, 그의 아버지는 므술람, 그 윗대는 호다야, 그 윗대는 하스누아,	And of the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hasenuah,
8	그 윗대는 이브느야, 그 윗대는 여로함이다. 또 엘라의 일족이 와서 자리잡았는데, 그의 아버지는 우찌, 그 윗대는 미그리이다. 므술람의 일족도 와서 자리잡았는데, 그의 아버지는 스바티야, 그 윗대는 르우엘, 그 윗대는 이브니야이다.	And Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephathiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
9	그들 일족을 족보별로 세어보니 모두 구백오십육 명이었다. 이상 모두가 각 가문의 수령들이었다.	And their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty and six. All these men were chief of the fathers in the house of their fathers.
10	사제로는 여다야, 여호야립, 야긴,	And of the priests; Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin,
11	아자리야가 있었다. 이 아자리야의 아버지는 힐키야, 그 윗대는 므술람, 그 윗대는 사독, 그 윗대는 므라욧, 그 윗대는 성전 관리인이었던 아히툽이다.	And Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;
12	또 아다야의 아버지는 여로함, 그 윗대는 바스훌, 그 윗대는 말기야, 그 윗대는 마새, 그 윗대는 아디엘, 그 윗대는 야흐제라, 그 윗대는 므술람, 그 윗대는 므실레밋, 그 윗대는 임멜이다.	And Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasiai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
13	이들 각 가문의 수령에 딸린 일족 가운데 하느님의 성전에서 일을 맡아볼 만한 장정은 모두 천칠백육십 명이었다.	And their brethren, heads of the house of their fathers, a thousand and seven hundred and threescore; very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
14	레위인으로는 므라리 지파의 스마야가 있다. 그의 아버지는 하수브, 그 윗대는 아즈리캄, 그 윗대는 하사비야이다.	And of the Levites; Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
15	같은 지파 사람으로 박바칼, 헤레스, 갈랄, 마따니야가 있었는데, 마따니야의 아버지는 미가, 그 윗대는 지그리, 그 윗대는 아삽이다.	And Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Micah, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;
16	오바디야라는 사람도 있었다. 그의 아버지는 스마야, 그 윗대는 갈랄, 그 윗대는 여두둔이다. 또 베레기야라는 사람은 느토바인들의 촌락에 자리잡았는데, 그의 아버지는 아사, 그 윗대는 엘카나이다.	And Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
17	수위로는 살룸, 아쿱, 탈몬, 아히만 일족들이 있었다. 그 가운데 우두머리는 살룸인데	And the porters were, Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chief;
18	살룸은 임금이 드나들던 동문을 이 때까지 지키고 있었다. 이들은 레위인들의 장막 수위였다.	Who hitherto waited in the king’s gate eastward: they were porters in the companies of the children of Levi.
19	살룸의 아버지는 코레, 그 윗대는 에비야삽, 그 윗대는 코라이다. 살룸은 코라 가문의 일족을 거느리고 성막 문을 지키는 임무를 맡았다. 그들의 선조들도 야훼의 성막 출입문을 지키는 사람들이었다.	And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the host of the Lord, were keepers of the entry.
20	예전에는 엘르아잘의 아들 비느하스가 그들의 감독이었다. -야훼께서 살룸과 함께 계시기를.-	And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them in time past, and the Lord was with him.
21	므셀레미야의 아들 즈가리야는 만남의 장막 수위였다.	And Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was porter of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
22	수위로 뽑힌 사람의 수효는 모두 이백십이 명이었다. 그들은 살고 있는 부락에 각기 등록되어 있었다. 그들에게 이 일을 맡긴 이는 다윗과 선견자 사무엘이다.	All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by their genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their set office.
23	그들은 대대로 야훼의 성전, 성막 문을 지키는 일을 맡았다.	So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the Lord, namely, the house of the tabernacle, by wards.
24	이 수위들은 동서남북 사방에 배치되었다.	In four quarters were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.
25	그들 일족은 각기 자기네 부락에 살면서 번갈아 이레씩 와서 도왔다.	And their brethren, which were in their villages, were to come after seven days from time to time with them.
26	그러나 수문장 넷은 거기에 상주하였다. 그들은 레위인으로서 하느님의 성전에 있는 모든 방과 창고도 책임지고 지켰다.	For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in their set office, and were over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
27	그들은 하느님의 성전을 지키는 책임을 진 사람들이라 하느님의 성전 경내에서 숙직하였다. 아침마다 문을 여는 것은 그들의 일이었다.	And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained to them.
28	그들 가운데 제사 도구를 맡은 사람들이 있어, 가져다 둘 때도 그들이 세어 받고 꺼낼 때에도 그들이 세어서 내어주게 되어 있었다.	And certain of them had the charge of the ministering vessels, that they should bring them in and out by tale.
29	어떤 사람은 일반 도구, 거룩한 도구를 맡았고 어떤 사람은 밀가루, 포도주, 기름, 분향 재료, 향수를 맡았다.	Some of them also were appointed to oversee the vessels, and all the instruments of the sanctuary, and the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30	그러나 그 향수를 섞는 일은 사제들의 책임이었다.	And some of the sons of the priests made the ointment of the spices.
31	떡 굽는 일은 레위인 마띠디야의 책임이었다. 그는 코라의 후손인 살룸의 맏아들이었다.	And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were made in the pans.
32	안식일마다 빵을 차려놓는 일은 크핫파에서 맡았다.	And other of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the shewbread, to prepare it every sabbath.
33	—	And these are the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night.
34	이상이 족보별로 본 레위 지파 각 가문의 수령들이다. 이들은 예루살렘에서 살았다.	These chief fathers of the Levites were chief throughout their generations; these dwelt at Jerusalem.
35	사울의 계보 기브온에 여이엘이라는 사람이 있었는데, 그가 바로 기브온을 세운 사람으로서 마아가라는 아내와 살았다.	And in Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jehiel, whose wife’s name was Maachah:
36	그의 맏아들은 압돈이요, 그 아래로 수르, 키스, 바알, 넬, 나답,	And his firstborn son Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
37	그돌, 아효, 즈가리야, 미클롯이 있었다.	And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38	미클롯은 시므아를 낳았다. 이 사람들도 다른 일족들을 마주보며 예루살렘에 자리를 잡았다.	And Mikloth begat Shimeam. And they also dwelt with their brethren at Jerusalem, over against their brethren.
39	넬은 키스를 낳았고 키스는 사울을 낳았다. 사울은 요나단, 말기수아, 아비나답, 에스바알을 낳았다.	And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi–shua, and Abinadab, and Esh–baal.
40	요나단은 므리바알을 낳았고, 므리바알은 미가를 낳았다.	And the son of Jonathan was Merib–baal: and Merib–baal begat Micah.
41	미가는 비돈, 멜렉, 다레아, 아하즈를 낳았다.	And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, and Ahaz.
42	아하즈는 야라를 낳았고 야라는 알레멧, 아즈마웻, 지므리를 낳았다. 지므리는 모사를 낳았고	And Ahaz begat Jarah; and Jarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
43	모사는 비느아를 낳았다. 비느아는 르바이야를, 르바이야는 엘라사, 엘라사는 아셀을 낳았다.	And Moza begat Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
44	아셀은 아들 여섯을 두었다. 그 이름은 아즈리캄, 보크루, 이스마엘, 스아리아, 오바디야, 하난이다. 이들이 모두 아셀의 아들들이다.	And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these were the sons of Azel.
