4	노아, 그 다음은 셈과 함과 야벳.	Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5	야벳의 아들은 고멜, 마곡, 마대, 야완, 두발, 메섹, 디라스.	The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

10	에티오피아에게서 니므롯이 났는데, 그는 세상에 태어난 첫 장사였다.	And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.
11	이집트에게서 리디아족, 아남족, 르합족, 납두족,	And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12	바드룻족, 가슬루족, 갑돌족이 나왔고 갑돌족에게서 불레셋족이 갈라져 나왔다.	And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.
13	가나안에게서 난 첫아들이 시돈이요, 그 뒤를 이어 헷족,	And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
14	여부스족, 아모리족, 기르갓족,	The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15	히위족, 아르키족, 신족,	And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16	아르왓족, 스말족, 하맛족이 나왔다.	And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17	셈의 아들은 엘람, 아수르, 아르박삿, 리디아, 아람. 아람의 아들은 우스, 훌, 게델, 메섹.	The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18	아르박삿에게서 셀라가 났고 셀라에게서 에벨이 났다.	And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
19	에벨에게서 두 아들이 태어났다. 한 아들의 이름은 벨렉인데, 그의 시대에 인종이 갈라져 나갔다고 해서 그렇게 불렀다. 그의 아우 이름은 욕단이다.	And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother’s name was Joktan.
20	욕단에게서 알모닷, 셀렙, 하살마웻, 예라,	And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21	하도람, 우잘, 디클라,	Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22	에발, 아비마엘, 세바,	And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23	오빌, 하윌라, 요밥이 났다. 이들이 모두 욕단의 아들이다.	And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24	셈, 아르박삿, 셀라,	Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
25	에벨, 벨렉, 르우,	Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26	스룩, 나홀, 데라,	Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27	아브람, 이 아브람이 곧 아브라함이다.	Abram; the same is Abraham.
28	아브라함에서 야곱에 이르는 계보 아브라함에게는 이사악과 이스마엘이라는 아들이 있었다.	The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.
29	그들의 계보는 아래와 같다. 이스마엘의 맏아들은 느바욧, 그 아래로 케달, 아드브엘, 밉삼,	These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30	미스마, 두마, 마싸, 하닷, 데마,	Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31	여툴, 나비스, 케드마. 이들이 이스마엘의 아들들이다.	Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32	아브라함이 소실 크투라에게서 얻은 아들은 지므란, 욕산, 므단, 미디안, 이스박, 수아. 욕산의 아들은 세바와 드단.	Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.
33	미디안의 아들은 에바, 에벨, 하녹, 아비다, 엘다아. 이들이 모두 크투라의 아들들이다.	And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.
34	아브라함은 이사악을 낳았다. 이사악은 에사오와 이스라엘이라는 아들을 두었다.	And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.
35	에사오의 아들은 엘리바즈, 르우엘, 여우스, 야을람, 코라.	The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
36	엘리바즈의 아들은 데만, 오말, 스비, 가아담, 크낫, 딤나, 아말렉.	The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37	르우엘의 아들은 나핫, 제라, 삼마, 미짜.	The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38	세일의 아들은 로탄, 소발, 시브온, 아나, 디손, 에제르, 디산.	And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39	로탄의 아들은 호리, 호맘. 로탄에게는 딤나라는 누이가 있었다.	And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan’s sister.
40	소발의 아들은 알완, 마나핫, 에발, 스비, 오남. 시브온의 아들은 아야, 아나.	The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.
41	아나의 아들은 디손. 디손의 아들은 하므란, 에스반, 이드란, 그란.	The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42	에제르의 아들은 빌한, 자완, 야칸. 디산의 아들은 우스, 아란.	The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.
43	이스라엘 나라에 왕제도가 생기기 전에 에돔에는 이미 왕이 나라를 다스리고 있었는데 그 에돔 왕들의 이름은 아래와 같다. 첫째는 브올의 아들 벨라였다. 그의 수도는 딘하바라 불리었다.	Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44	벨라가 죽자 보스라 사람 제라의 아들 요밥이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.	And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45	요밥이 죽자 데만 사람 후삼이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.	And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46	후삼이 죽자 브닷의 아들 하닷이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다. 하닷은 미디안을 모압 벌에서 무찌른 왕이다. 그의 수도는 아윗이라 불렀다.	And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
47	하닷이 죽자 마스레카 사람 사믈라가 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.	And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
48	사믈라가 죽자 르호봇한나할 사람 사울이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.	And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
49	사울이 죽자 악볼의 아들 바알하난이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.	And when Shaul was dead, Baal–hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50	바알하난이 죽자 하닷이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다. 그의 수도는 바이라고 불리었다. 그의 아내의 이름은 므헤타브엘이었는데 그는 메자합의 손녀이자 마드렛의 딸이었다.	And when Baal–hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
51	하닷이 죽은 다음에는 추장들이 에돔을 다스렸다. 추장 딤나, 추장 알랴, 추장 여뎃,	Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,
52	추장 오홀리바마, 추장 엘라, 추장 비논,	Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53	추장 크나즈, 추장 데만, 추장 밉살,	Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54	추장 막디엘, 추장 이람. 이들이 에돔의 추장들이었다.	Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
