절	공동번역 개정판 (1999)	King James Version
1	야훼께 감사하며 그 이름 높이 불러라. 그 장하신 일들을 만방에 알려라.	O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2	그분께 노래불러라, 수금 타며 노래불러 드려라. 놀라운 그 일들을 이야기하여라.	Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3	그 거룩하신 이름을 자랑하여라. 야훼 찾는 마음에 기쁨 있어라.	Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
4	야훼를 찾아라, 그의 힘을 빌려라. 잠시도 그의 곁을 떠나지 마라.	Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5	얼마나 묘한 일들 하셨는지 생각들 하여라. 그의 기적들, 그 입으로 내리신 판단을 명심하여라.	Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
6	그의 종 아브라함의 후손들아, 그가 뽑으신 야곱의 자손들아,	O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
7	그분이 바로 야훼 우리 하느님, 온 세상을 바로 다스리시는 분이시다.	He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8	계약을 맺으시며 만대에 내리신 말씀 영원히 잊지 아니하신다.	He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
9	아브라함과 맺으신 계약, 이사악과 맹세하셨다.	Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
10	이것은 야곱에게 지키라고 세워주신 법령, 이스라엘이 언제까지나 어길 수 없는 계약이다.	And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
11	"이 가나안 땅을 너희에게 준다. 대대로 물려줄 너희 유산이다."	Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
12	적은 수효, 하찮은 사람들이 이국 땅에 나그네 되어	When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
13	이 민족 저 민족을 떠돌아다니면서 이 나라를 떠나 다른 민족에게로 방랑하고 있을 때,	When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
14	하느님께서는 아무도 이 민족을 누르지 못하도록 세상 임금들에게 경고하셨다.	He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15	"내가 기름 부은 자들을 건드리지 말고 나의 예언자들을 해치지 마라."	Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
16	그는 또 그 땅에 기근을 불러들이시고 그들의 식량 지팡이를 부러뜨리셨다.	Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
17	그러나 사람 하나를 먼저 보내셨으니 곧 종으로 팔려간 요셉이다.	He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18	요셉은 거기에서 발에 차꼬를 차고 목에는 쇠칼을 쓰고 고생을 하였으나	Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19	마침내 해몽한 것이 들어맞아 야훼의 말씀을 전하는 자의 신분이 밝혀지자	Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.
20	왕은 사람을 보내어 그의 사슬을 풀어주었으니 여러 족속을 다스리는 자가 요셉을 놓아주었다.	The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
21	그리고 그에게 나라 일을 맡겨 온 살림을 주관하게 하며	He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
22	신하들을 마음대로 교육하고 원로들에게는 지혜를 가르치게 하였다.	To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
23	그 때 이스라엘은 이집트로 가 야곱이 함족의 나라에서 나그네로 살았다.	Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24	하느님께서 당신 백성을 크게 불어나게 하시어 원수들보다도 더 강하게 만드셨다.	And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
25	원수들은 마음이 달라져 당신의 백성을 미워하고 당신의 종들에게 속임수를 쓰게 되었다.	He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
26	하느님은 당신의 종 모세와 몸소 뽑으신 아론을 보내시어	He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27	함족의 나라에서 당신의 뜻을 드러내는 표를 보이게 하셨고, 많은 기적을 행하게 하셨다.	They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28	어둠을 보내시어 깜깜하게 만드셨으나 적들은 거역하였다.	He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29	저희 물을 모두 피가 되게 하시어 물고기들을 죽이셨다.	He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30	개구리가 온 나라에 퍼져서 임금의 안방에까지 우글거리게 하셨다.	Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
31	말씀 한마디에 파리떼, 모기떼가 온 지경 안에 덮쳐왔다.	He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
32	비를 기다리는 때에 온 나라에 우박을 쏟으시며,	He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
33	벼락으로 포도덩굴과 무화과나무를 치시고 온 지경 안에 있는 나무를 꺾으셨다.	He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
34	말씀 한마디로 메뚜기와 누리떼가 수없이 덮쳐와서	He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
35	온 나라의 풀을 모조리 갉아먹고 땅에서 나는 온갖 곡식도 먹어 치웠다.	And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36	또 그들 민족의 꽃이라고 하는 맏이들을 온 나라 안에서 모두 죽이셨다.	He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
37	그리고는 당신 겨레는 금과 은을 가지고 나오게 하시니 한 사람도 낙오한 자가 없었다.	He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
38	이집트인들은 그들을 두려워한 나머지 그들이 떠나는 것을 기뻐하였다.	Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39	하느님께서는 구름을 펼쳐 덮어주시고 밤에는 불로 비추어주셨다.	He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40	먹을 것을 구하면 메추라기를 몰아다 주시고 하늘에서 양식을 내리시어 배불리셨다.	The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41	바위를 열어서 샘물을 솟게 하시고 그 물은 내를 이루어 메마른 땅을 적셨다.	He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
42	당신의 종 아브라함에게 약속하신	For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43	거룩한 말씀을 아니 잊으시고 당신 백성을 발걸음도 가볍게 빠져 나오게 하시며 뽑으신 그 백성이 기쁜 노래 부르며 나오게 하셨다.	And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44	그리고는 여러 민족의 땅을 빼앗아 그 종족들이 일군 땅을 물려주셨다.	And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
45	그 값으로 이스라엘은 주신 법규를 따르고 가르쳐주신 법을 지켜야만 하였다. 할렐루야.	That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord.
