1	가나안 땅의 경계 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2	"이것은 이스라엘 백성에게 내리는 명령이다. 너는 그들에게 선포하여라. '너희가 이제 가나안 땅에 들어서게 될 터인데, 너희에게 유산으로 돌아온 땅, 저 가나안의 지경은 다음과 같다.	Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
3	남쪽 접경은 에돔 경계선에 닿은 씬 광야에서 시작된다. 남쪽 경계선은 동으로 사해 끝에서 시작된다.	Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:
4	너희의 경계선은 거기에서 남쪽으로 꺾여 아크라삠 비탈을 거쳐 씬 광야를 지나 카데스바르네아에 이른다. 거기에서 하살아딸을 지나 아스몬에 이르렀다가	And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh–barnea, and shall go on to Hazar–addar, and pass on to Azmon:
5	다시 거기에서 꺾여 이집트 개울로 해서 대해에까지 뻗는다.	And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
6	서쪽 경계는 대해이다. 그 해변이 너희의 서쪽 경계선이 된다.	And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.
7	북쪽 경계는 대해에서 호르 산에 이르기까지 경계선을 긋고	And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:
8	또 호르 산에서 하맛 어귀에까지 경계선을 그어라. 그 선은 스닷에까지 이른다.	From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:
9	그 경계선은 지브론을 거쳐서 하살에난에 이르러 끝난다. 이것이 너희의 북쪽 경계선이다.	And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazar–enan: this shall be your north border.
10	동쪽 경계는 하살에난에서 세밤에까지 이어지고	And ye shall point out your east border from Hazar–enan to Shepham:
11	세밤에서 아인 동쪽을 거쳐 리블라로 내려오다가 긴네렛 호수 동쪽 비탈에 이른다.	And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:
12	거기에서 다시 요르단 강을 끼고 내려와 사해에 이른다. 이것이 너희의 동쪽 경계선이다. 너희가 차지할 땅의 경계는 위와 같다.'"	And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.
13	모세가 이스라엘 백성에게 지시하였다. "이것이 너희가 주사위를 던져 나누어가질 땅, 야훼께서 아홉 지파와 반 지파에게 주라고 명령하신 땅이다.	And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the Lord commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:
14	르우벤 자손의 지파와 가드 자손의 지파와 므나쎄 지파의 반은 이미 가문을 따라 땅을 차지하였다.	For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:
15	그 두 지파와 반 지파는 예리고 근처 요르단 강 건너 동쪽 해 뜨는 곳의 땅을 차지하였다."	The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
16	각 지파의 구역 분할 책임자 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
17	"땅을 너희에게 나누어줄 사람은 사제 엘르아잘과 눈의 아들 여호수아이다.	These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
18	또 지파마다 한 사람씩 대표를 뽑아 세워 땅을 나누어가지도록 하여라.	And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.
19	그들의 이름은 다음과 같다. 유다 지파에서는 여분네의 아들 갈렙,	And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
20	시므온 자손의 지파에서는 암미훗의 아들 스무엘,	And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21	베냐민 지파에서는 기슬론의 아들 엘리닷,	Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
22	단 자손의 지파에서는 요글리의 아들 북키,	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23	요셉의 후손, 므나쎄 지파에서는 에봇의 아들 한니엘,	The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
24	에브라임 자손의 지파에서는 십탄의 아들 크무엘,	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25	즈불룬 자손의 지파에서는 바르낙의 아들 엘리사반,	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
26	이싸갈 자손의 지파에서는 아짠의 아들 발티엘,	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27	아셀 자손의 지파에서는 슬로미의 아들 아히훗,	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28	납달리 자손의 지파에서는 암미훗의 아들 브다헬이다."	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
29	이 사람들이 야훼의 명령을 받아 가나안 땅에서 이스라엘 백성에게 땅을 나누어줄 사람들이었다.	These are they whom the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
