절	공동번역 개정판 (1999)	King James Version
1	형제 여러분, 여러분은 성령의 지도를 따라 사는 사람이니, 어떤 사람이 잘못을 저질렀을 때 온유한 마음으로 바로잡아 주어야 합니다. 그리고 여러분도 유혹에 빠지지 않도록 자신을 살피십시오.	Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2	서로 남의 짐을 져주십시오. 그래서 그리스도의 법을 이루십시오.	Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3	사실 아무것도 아닌 사람이 무엇이나 된 것처럼 생각한다면 그는 자기 자신을 속이고 있는 것입니다.	For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4	각각 자기가 한 일을 살펴봅시다. 잘한 일이 있다면 그것은 자기 혼자 자랑스럽게 생각할 일이지 남에게까지 자랑할 것은 못 됩니다.	But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5	각 사람은 자기 짐을 져야 하기 때문입니다.	For every man shall bear his own burden.
6	하느님의 말씀을 배우는 사람은 그것을 가르치는 사람과 모든 좋은 것을 같이 나누어야 합니다.	Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
7	잘못 생각하지 마십시오. 하느님은 조롱을 받으실 분이 아니십니다. 사람은 무엇을 심든지 자기가 심은 것을 그대로 거둘 것입니다.	Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8	자기 육체에 심는 사람은 육체에게서 멸망을 거두겠지만 성령에 심는 사람은 성령으로부터 영원한 생명을 거둡니다.	For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9	낙심하지 말고 꾸준히 선을 행합시다. 꾸준히 계속하노라면 거둘 때가 올 것입니다.	And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10	그러므로 기회 있을 때마다 모든 사람에게 선을 행합시다. 믿는 식구들에게는 더욱 그렇게 해야 합니다.	As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
11	마지막 권고와 인사 보십시오. 내가 직접 여러분에게 이렇게 큰 글자로 써 보냅니다.	Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.
12	인간적인 겉치레만을 일삼는 자들은 여러분에게 할례를 강요하고 있습니다. 그들은 오직 그리스도의 십자가 때문에 받는 박해를 면하려고 그러는 것뿐입니다.	As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
13	실상 할례를 받은 사람들도 자신은 율법을 지키지 않고 다만 여러분에게 외형적인 할례를 시켰다는 것을 자랑하려고 할례를 받게 하려는 것뿐입니다.	For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
14	그러나 나에게는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 십자가밖에는 아무것도 자랑할 것이 없습니다. 그리스도께서 십자가에 못박히심으로써 세상은 나에 대해서 죽었고 나는 세상에 대해서 죽었습니다.	But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
15	할례를 받고 안 받는 것이 문제가 아니라 새로운 사람이 되는 것이 중요합니다.	For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16	이 법칙을 따라서 사는 사람들에게, 그리고 하느님의 백성 이스라엘에게 평화와 자비가 있기를 빕니다.	And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
17	앞으로는 아무도 나를 괴롭히지 마십시오. 내 몸에는 예수의 낙인이 찍혀 있습니다.	From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18	형제 여러분, 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은총이 여러분의 마음에 내리기를 빕니다. 아멘.	Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. Unto the Galatians written from Rome.
