| 2 | Bezzeg jól segítettél a tehetetlenen, meggyámolítottad az erőtelen kart! | How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength? |
| 3 | Bezzeg jó tanácsot adtál a tudatlannak, és sok értelmet tanusítottál! | How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is? |
| 4 | Kivel beszélgettél, és kinek a lelke jött ki belőled? | To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee? |
| 5 | A halottak is megremegnek tőle; a vizek alatt levők és azok lakói is. | Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof. |
| 6 | Az alvilág mezítelen előtte, és eltakaratlan a holtak országa. | Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering. |
| 7 | Ő terjeszti ki északot az üresség fölé és függeszti föl a földet a semmiség fölé. | He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. |

| 12 | Erejével felriasztja a tengert, és bölcseségével megtöri Ráhábot. | He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. |
| 13 | Lehelletével megékesíti az eget, keze átdöfi a futó kígyót. | By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent. |
| 14 | Ímé, ezek az ő útainak részei, de mily kicsiny rész az, a mit meghallunk abból! Ám az ő hatalmának mennydörgését ki érthetné meg? | Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand? |
