| 1 | ထိုရောအခါ၊ ယာကုပ်သည် မိမိသားတို့ကို ခေါ်၍၊ သင်တို့သည် စည်းဝေးကြလော့။ နောင်ကာလ အခါ၊ သင်တို့၌ ဖြစ်လတံ့သော အမှုအရာများကို ငါဟောပြောမည်။ | And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. |
| 2 | ယာကုပ်၏သားတို့၊ စည်းဝေး၍ ကြားကြလော့။ အဘဣသရေလ၏စကားကို နားထောင်ကြလော့။ | Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father. |
| 3 | အိုရုဗင်၊ သင်သည် ငါ့သားဦး၊ငါ့အစွမ်းသတ္တိ၊ ငါခွန်အား အစအဦး၊ ဘုန်းအထွဋ်၊ တန်ခိုး အထွဋ်ဖြစ်၏။ | Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: |
| 4 | သို့သော်လည်း ရေကဲ့သို့ ပွက်ထသော သဘော ရှိသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ထူးမြတ်ခြင်းသို့ မရောက်ရ။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ သင်သည် အဘ၏အိပ်ရာကို တက်၍ ညစ်ညူး စေ၏။ ငါ့ခုတင်ထက်သို့ဘက်လေပြီတကား။ | Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch. |
| 5 | ရှိမောင်နှင့်လေဝိသည် ညီအစ်ကိုဖြစ်၏။ အဓမ္မအမှုကို ကြံသည်အတိုင်း ပြီးစီးကြပြီ။ | Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations. |

| 7 | သူတို့ပြင်းစွာ ထွက်သောအမျက်၊ ကြမ်းတမ်းစွာသော ဒေါသသည် ကျိန်ခြင်းကို ခံပါစေသော။ ယာကုပ် အမျိုး၊ ဣသရေလအနွယ်သားတို့တွင် သူတို့ကို ငါကွဲပြား ပန့်လွင့်စေမည်။ | Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel. |
| 8 | အိုယုဒ၊ သင်သည်ညီအစ်ကိုတို့ ချီးမွမ်းရသော သူဖြစ်၏။ သင်၏လက်သည် သင်၏ရန်သူလည်ပင်းပေါ် မှာ ရှိလိမ့်မည်။ အဘ၏သားတို့သည် သင့်ရှေ့မှာ ဦးညွှတ်ချကြလိမ့်မည်။ | Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee. |
| 9 | ယုဒသည် ခြင်္သေ့ပျို ဖြစ်၏။ ငါ့သား၊ သင်သည် ဘမ်းယူကိုက်စားရာမှ တက်လာတက်၏။ ဝပ်လျက် နေ၏။ ခြင်္သေ့ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ ခြင်္သေ့မကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဝပ်တွားတတ် ၏။ အဘယ်သူ နှိုးဆော်ဝံ့မည်နည်း။ | Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? |
| 10 | ရှိလော မရောက်မှီတိုင်အောင်၊ ရာဇလှံတံသည် ယုဒထံမှ၎င်း၊ မင်းအာဏာသည် သူ၏အမျိုး အနွယ်ထံမှ၎င်း မရွေ့ရ။ ရှိလော၌ လူမျိုးတို့သည် ဆည်းကပ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ | The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. |
| 11 | မိမိမြည်းကို စပျစ်နွယ်ပင်၌၎င်း၊ မြည်းကလေးကို အမြတ်ဆုံးသော စပျစ်နွှယ်ပင်၌၎င်း ချည်နှောင်၍၊ မိမိအဝတ်ပုဆိုးများကို စပျစ်သီးအသွေး တည်းဟူသော စပျစ်ရည်ဖြင့် လျှော်လိမ့်မည်။ | Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: |
| 12 | သူ၏မျက်စိသည် စပျစ်ရည်နှင့် နီလိမ့်မည်။ သွားသည်လည်း နို့နှင့်ဖြူလိမ့်မည်။ | His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk. |
| 13 | ဇာဗုလန်သည် ကမ်းနားမှာ နေ၍၊ သင်္ဘောဆိပ် ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ သူ၏နယ်သည် ဇိဒုန်မြို့တိုင်အောင် ကျယ်ဝန်းလိမ့်မည်။ | Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon. |
| 14 | ဣသခါသည် တောင်ကြားမှာ ဝပ်လျက် အားကြီးသောမြည်းဖြစ်၏။ | Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens: |
| 15 | ငြိမ်ဝပ်ရာအရပ်ကောင်း၍ မြေသာယာသည်ကို မြင်သဖြင့်၊ မိမိပခုံးပေါ်မှာ ထမ်းပိုးကို တင်ထမ်း၍၊ အခွန်ပေးသော ကျွန်ဖြစ်လေ၏။ | And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute. |
| 16 | ဒန်သည် ဣသရေလအနွှယ် တစုံတပါးကဲ့သို့၊ မိမိလူတို့ကို စီရင်လိမ့်မည်။ | Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. |
| 17 | ဒန်သည် လမ်း၌နေသော မြွေဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ မြင်းစီးသောသူကို နောက်သို့ လဲစေခြင်းငှါ လမ်းကြားမှာ နေ၍၊ မြင်းခြေကို ကိုက်တတ်သော မြွေဆိုးဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ | Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. |
| 18 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကယ်တင်တော်မူခြင်းကျေးဇူးကို အကျွန်ုပ်မြော်လင့်လျက်နေပါပြီ။ | I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord. |
| 19 | ဂဒ်မူကား၊ စစ်သူရဲတိုသည် သူတို့တိုက်ကြ၍၊ သူသည် ပြန်တိုက်လိမ့်မည်။ | Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last. |
| 20 | အာရှာ၌ဖြစ်သော အစာသည် အရသာနှင့် ပြည့်စုံ၍၊ မင်း၏ ခဲဘွယ်စားဘွယ်တို့ကို ထုတ်ပေးလိမ့် မည်။ | Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties. |
| 21 | နဿလိသည် လှသောအခက်အလက်နှင့် ပြည့်စုံ၍၊ ကျယ်ဝန်းသော သပိတ်ပင်ဖြစ်၏။ | Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words. |
| 22 | ယောသပ်သည် သန်သောပျိုးပင်၊ ရေတွင်းနားမှာ သန်သော ပျိုးပင်ဖြစ်၏။ အခက်အလက်တို့သည် အုတ်ရိုးပေါ်မှာ ကျော်သွားကြ၏။ | Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall: |
| 23 | လေးသမားတို့သည် သူ့ကို အငြိုးထား၍၊ အလွန်ညှဉ်းဆဲပစ်ခတ်ကြ၏။ | The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: |
| 24 | သို့သော်လည်း သူ၏လေးသည် အားမလျော့။ သူကိုင်သော လက်နက်တို့သည်၊ ယာကုပ်အမျိုး၌ တန်ခိုး ကြီးသော ဘုရား၏လက်ဖြင့်၎င်း၊ သိုးထိန်းတည်းဟူသော ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ကျောက်ဖြင့်၎င်း၊ | But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) |
| 25 | သင့်ကိုမစတော်မူသော သင့်အဘ၏ ဘုရား သခင်အားဖြင့်၎င်း၊ သင့်ကို ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူသော အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်အားဖြင့်၎င်း ခိုင်မာလျက်ရှိ၏။ ထိုဘုရားသည် အထက်မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်၏ မင်္ဂလာ၊ အောက် နက်နဲသောအရပ်၏မင်္ဂလာ၊ သားမြတ်နှင့်ဆိုင်သောမင်္ဂလာ၊ ဝမ်းနှင့်ဆိုင်သောမင်္ဂလာတို့ဖြင့် သင့်ကို ကောင်းကြီး ပေးတော်မူပါစေသော။ | Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: |
| 26 | သင်၏အဘပေးသော ကောင်းကြီးမင်္ဂလာသည်၊ ထာဝရတောင်တို့၌ဖြစ်သော ကောင်းကြီးမင်္ဂလာ၊ ထာဝရကုန်းတို့၌ နှစ်သက်ဘွယ်သောအရာတို့ထက် သာ၍ မြတ်၏။ ထိုမင်္ဂလာသည် ယောသပ်ခေါင်းပေါ်၊ မိမိအစ်ကိုတို့တွင် အကြီးအကဲဖြစ်သောသူ၏ ခေါင်းထိပ်ပေါ်မှာ သက်ရောက်ပါစေသော။ | The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren. |
| 27 | ဗင်္ယာမိန်သည် လုယူကိုက်စားတတ်သော တောခွေးဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ ဘမ်းရသော အရာကိုနံနက်အချိန်၌ ကိုက်စား၍၊ လုယူသောအရာကိုလည်း ညအချိန်၌ ဝေဖန်လိမ့်မည်ဟုမြွက်ဆို၏။ | Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil. |
| 28 | ဤသူတို့ကား၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး ဆယ်နှစ်မျိုး ဖြစ်၏။ ဤစကားသည်လည်း သူတို့အဘမြွက်ဆို၍၊ သူတို့ အသီးသီးခံရသော မင်္ဂလာရှိသည်အတိုင်း၊ ကောင်းကြီး ပေးသော စကားပေတည်း။ | All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them. |
| 29 | တဖန်တုံ၊ ငါ့လူမျိုးစည်းဝေးရာသို့ ငါသွားရမည်။ ဟိတ္တိအမျိုးသား၊ ဧဖရှန်၏လယ်ပြင်တွင်ရှိသော မြေတွင်း၌၊ ငါ့အဘတို့နှင့်အတူ ငါ့ကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ကြပါ။ | And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, |
| 30 | ခါနာန်ပြည် မံရေမြို့ရှေ့မှာ၊ မပ္ပေလ လယ်ပြင်၌ရှိသော ထိုမြေတွင်းကို၊ အာဗြဟံသည် ကိုယ်ပိုင်သော သင်္ချိုင်းဘို့ လယ်ပြင်နှင့်တကွ ဟိတ္တိအမျိုးသားဧဖရုန်၌ ဝယ်လေပြီ။ | In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace. |
| 31 | ထိုမြေတွင်း၌ အာဗြဟံနှင့် မယားစာရာကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ကြပြီ။ ဣဇာက်နှင့် မယားရေဗက္ကကိုလည်း သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ကြပြီ။ လေအာကိုလည်း ငါသင်္ဂြိုဟ်ပြီ။ | There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah. |
| 32 | ထိုမြေတွင်းရှိသော ထိုလယ်ပြင်ကို၊ ဟေသ အမျိုးသားရှေ့မှာ ဝယ်သတည်းဟု မှာထား၏။ | The purchase of the field and of the cave that is therein was from the children of Heth. |
| 33 | ထိုသို့ယာကုပ်သည် မိမိသားတို့ကို အကုန်အစင် မာထားပြီးလျှင်၊ မိမိခြေတို့ကို ခုတင်ပေါ်မှာ ရုပ်သိမ်း သဖြင့်၊ အသက်ချုပ်၍ မိမိလူမျိုးစည်းဝေးရာသို့ ရောက်လေ၏။ | And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people. |
