| 1 | ယောဘပြန်၍ မြွက်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ | But Job answered and said, |
| 2 | ငါ့စကားကိုစေ့စေ့နားထောင်၍ ငါ့အားနှစ်သိမ့် ခြင်းကို ပြုကြလော့။ | Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations. |
| 3 | ငါပြောရသောအခွင့်ရှိစေခြင်းငှါ သည်းခံကြ လော့။ ငါပြောပြီးမှ ပြက်ယယ်ပြုချင်လျှင် ပြုကြလော့။ | Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on. |
| 4 | ငါမြည်တမ်းသောအရာနှင့် လူဆိုင်သလော။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် စိတ်မတိုသင့်သနည်း။ | As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled? |
| 5 | ငါ့ကိုကြည့်ရှုလျက် မိန်းမောတွေဝေ၍၊ သင်တို့ပစပ်ကို သင်တို့ လက်နှင့် ဖုံးအုပ် ကြလော။ | Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth. |
| 6 | ငါသည်အောက်မေ့သောအခါ။ မိန်းမောတွေဝေ၍၊ ကိုယ်အသားသည် တုန်လှုပ်လျက်ရှိ၏။ | Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh. |
| 7 | လူဆိုးတို့သည် အသက်ရှင်ရုံမျှမက၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် အသက်ကြီး၍ ဘုန်းစည်းစိမ်နှင့် ပြည့်စုံကြ သနည်း။ | Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? |
| 8 | သူတို့သားသမီးတို့သည် သူတို့ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် အရပ်၌၎င်း၊ သူတို့အမျိုးအနွယ်သည် သူတို့ရှေ့မှောက် ၌၎င်း နေရာကျကြ၏။ | Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. |
| 9 | သူတို့အိမ်များသည်လည်း ဘေးနှင့်လွတ်၍ ငြိမ်ဝပ်ကြ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်ဒဏ်ခတ်တော်မူခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်ကြ၏။ | Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. |
| 10 | သူတို့နွားလားသည် မချွတ်မလွှဲ အရွယ်လိုက်တတ်၏။ နွားမသည်လည်း ဝမ်းပိုးမပျက်ဘွားတတ်၏။ | Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf. |
| 11 | သူတို့သူငယ်များကို သိုးစုကဲ့သို့လွှတ်၍၊ သားသမီးတို့သည် ကခုန်တတ်ကြ၏။ | They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance. |
| 12 | သူတို့သည် ပတ်တာနှင့်စောင်းကို တီးလျက်၊ သီချင်းဆို၍ နှဲခရာမှုတ်သံနှင့် ဝမ်းမြောက်တတ်ကြ၏။ | They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ. |
| 13 | ပျော်မွေ့လျက် အသက်ကာလကို လွန်စေ၍၊ ချက်ခြင်းသေမင်းနိုင်ငံသို့ ဆင်းသက်တတ်ကြ၏။ | They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. |
| 14 | ဘုရားသခင်အားလည်း၊ ငါ့တို့ထံမှ ထွက်သွားလော့။ ကိုယ်တော်၏တရားကို ငါတို့မသိလိုဟူ၍၎င်း၊ | Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. |
| 15 | အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်သည် အဘယ်သို့သောသူဖြစ်၍ ငါတို့သည် ဝတ်ပြုရမည်နည်း။သူ့ကိုဆုတောင်းလျှင် အဘယ်ကျေးဇူးရှိလိမ့်မည်နည်းဟူ၍၎င်း ဆိုတတ်ကြ၏။ | What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him? |
| 16 | သို့သော်လည်း သူတို့သည် ကိုယ်စည်းစိမ်ကို ကိုယ်မပိုင်ကြ။ မတရားသောသူတို့၏ အကြံအစည်ကို ငါသည် ဝန်မခံ။ | Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me. |
| 17 | မတရားသောသူတို့၏ မီးခွက်သည် သေ၍၊ သူတို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းငှါ ဘုရားသခင်သည် အမျက်တော် ထွက်သဖြင့်၊ ဘယ်နှစ်ကြိမ်ဘေးဥပဒ်တို့ကို စီရင်တော်မူ ဘူးသည်ကို၎င်း၊ | How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger. |

| 19 | ဘုရားသခင်သည် သူ၏အပြစ်ကို သူ၏သားသမီးတို့အဘို့ ဘယ်နှစ်ကြိမ် သိုထားတော်မူဘူးသည်ကို ၎င်း၊ သူသည်ကိုယ်တိုင်သိ၍၊ | God layeth up his iniquity for his children: he rewardeth him, and he shall know it. |
| 20 | ကိုယ်ပျက်စီးခြင်းကိုကိုယ် မျက်စိနှင့် မြင်လျက်၊ အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်၏အမျက်တော်ကို သောက်စိမ့်သောငှါ၊ သူ၏အပြစ်ကို ဘယ်နှစ်ကြိမ်ဆပ်ပေးတော်မူဘူးသည်ကို ၎င်းသိမှတ်ကြလော့။ | His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty. |
| 21 | သူနေရသောနှစ်လစေ့သောအခါ၊ သူ့သားသမီးတို့၌ ရောက်သောအမှုနှင့် သူသည် အဘယ်သို့ ဆိုင်သနည်း။ | For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst? |
| 22 | မြင့်သောအရပ်၌နေသောသူတို့ကို အစိုးရတော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင်ကိုအဘယ်သူ သွန်သင်လိမ့်မည် နည်း။ | Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judgeth those that are high. |
| 23 | တယောက်သောသူကား ခွန်အားနှင့် ပြည့်စုံ လျက်၊ ငြိမ်ဝပ်ချမ်းသာစွာ သေတတ်၏။ | One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet. |
| 24 | သူ၏နံဖေးတို့သည် ဆူဖြိုး၍၊ အရိုးတို့လည်း ခြင်ဆီနှင့် စိုစွတ်ကြ၏။ | His breasts are full of milk, and his bones are moistened with marrow. |
| 25 | တယောက်သောသူကား တခါမျှမပျော်မွေ့၊ စိတ်ညှိုးငယ်လျက် သေတတ်၏။ | And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure. |
| 26 | နှစ်ယောက်လုံးတို့သည် မခြားမနာ၊ မြေမှုန့်၌ အိပ်၍ တီကောင်များ ဖုံးလွှမ်းခြင်းကို ခံရကြ၏။ | They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them. |
| 27 | သင်တို့သည် အောက်မေ့သောအရာ၊ ငါ့ကို မနာလိုသော စိတ်နှင့်ဆင်ခြင်သောအရာတို့ကို ငါသိ၏။ | Behold, I know your thoughts, and the devices which ye wrongfully imagine against me. |
| 28 | အာဏာထားတတ်သော သူ၏အိမ်သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်း။ မတရားသောသူတို့၏ ဘုံဗိမာန်တို့ သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်းဟု သင်တို့သည် ဆိုကြလိမ့် မည်။ | For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked? |
| 29 | ခရီးသွားသောသူတို့ကို မမေးကြဘူးသလော။ | Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens, |
| 30 | ဖျက်ဆီးရာနေ့ရက်ကာလဘို့ မတရားသော သူတို့သည် ယခုဘေးလွတ်လိမ့်မည်အကြောင်း၊ ဒေါသ အမျက်ခံရာနေ့ရက်ကာလဘို့ယခုထွက်မြောက်လိမ့်မည် အကြောင်းတည်းဟူသောသူတို့လက္ခဏာသက်သေများကို မသိကြသလော။ | That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. |
| 31 | သူပြုသောအမှုကို သူ့ရှေ့မှာ အဘယ်သူဘော်ပြလိမ့်မည်နည်း။ သူ၏အပြစ်နှင့်အလျောက် အဘယ်သူ ဆပ်ပေးလိမ့်မည်နည်း။ | Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done? |
| 32 | သူသည် သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ခြင်းသို့ရောက်၍၊ သူ၏သင်္ချိုင်းပုံကို အစောင့်ထားကြလိမ့်မည်။ | Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb. |
| 33 | သူသည် ချိုင့်မြေစိုင်တို့ကို ချိုနိုးထင်လိမ့်မည်။ မရေတွက်နိုင်အောင်များစွာသောသူတို့သည် သူ့ရှေ့၌ သွားနှင့်သကဲ့သို့၊ သူသည် လူခပ်သိမ်းတို့ကို မိမိနောက်၌ သွေးဆောင်လိမ့်မည်။ | The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him. |
| 34 | သို့ဖြစ်၍ သင်တို့ပြန်ပြောသော စကား၌ မုသာပါသောကြောင့်၊ အဘယ်သို့ငါ့ကို အချည်းနှီးနှစ်သိမ့်စေ ကြလိမ့်မည်နည်းဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။ | How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth falsehood? |
