|---|---|---|
Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.
He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.
And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?
Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.
လူ၏နေ့ရက်တို့ကို မှတ်သား၍၊ သူနေရသော လအရေအတွက်ကို ကိုယ်တော်သည်သိသဖြင့်၊ သူ မလွန်နိုင်သော အပိုင်းအခြားကို ထားတော်မူသော ကြောင့်၊ | Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;
Turn from him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day.
သစ်ပင်ကိုခုတ်သော်လည်း၊ အငုတ်အချည်း စည်းမရှိဘဲ အတက်ပေါက်လေဦးမည်ဟု မြော်လင့်စရာ ရှိ၏။ | For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
မြေထဲမှာ အမြစ်ဟောင်း၍၊ မြေပေါ်မှာ အငုတ်သေသော်လည်း၊ | Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;
Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.
But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:
လူသည်အိပ်ပြီးမှ နောက်တဖန်မထရ။ မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင်မကုန် မဆုံးမှီတိုင်အောင် မနိုးရ။ အအိပ် အပျော်မပျက်ရ။ | So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.
ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို သင်္ချိုင်းတွင်း၌ ဝှက်ထားတော်မူပါစေ။ အမျက်တော်မလွန်မှီတိုင်အောင် ကွယ်ကာတော်မူပါစေ။ အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုအောက်မေ့စရာ အချိန်ကို ချိန်းချက်တော်မူပါစေ။ | O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
လူသည် သေလျှင်အသက်ရှင်ပြန်ပါလိမ့်မည်လော။ အကျွန်ုပ် ပြောင်းလဲချိန်မရောက်မှီ၊ ပင်ပန်းစွာ အမှုထမ်းရသော နေ့ရက်ကာလပတ်လုံးသည်းခံလျက်နေ ပါမည်။ | If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ခေါ်တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်ပြန် လျှောက်ပါမည်။ ကိုယ်တိုင်ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော အရာကို သနားခြင်း စိတ်ရှိတော်မူပါ။ | Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.
For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?
My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up mine iniquity.
ပြိုသောတောင်သည် ကွယ်ပျောက်တတ်ပါ၏။ ကျောက်သည်လည်း မိမိနေရာမှ ရွေ့လျော့တတ်ပါ၏။ ရေတိုက်သောကျောက်ခဲသည်လည်း ပွန်းတတ်ပါ၏။ | And surely the mountain falling cometh to nought, and the rock is removed out of his place.
လွှမ်းမိုးသောရေနှင့်အတူ မြေမှုန့်ပါသွားတတ်ပါ၏။ ထိုအတူ ကိုယ်တော်သည် လူမြော်လင့်စရာ အကြောင်းကို ဖျက်တော်မူ၏။ | The waters wear the stones: thou washest away the things which grow out of the dust of the earth; and thou destroyest the hope of man.
ကိုယ်တော်သည် လူကို အစဉ်နိုင်တော်မူ၍၊ လူသည်ကွယ်ပျောက်တတ်ပါ၏။ ထူးခြားသောမျက်နှာ ကို ပေး၍ အခြားသို့ လွှတ်လိုက်တော်မူ၏။ | Thou prevailest for ever against him, and he passeth: thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away.
သူ၏သားတို့သည် ချီးမြှောက်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သော်လည်း သူသည်မသိရပါ။ နှိမ့်ချခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သော် လည်း ထိုအမှုကိုပင် မရိပ်မိပါ။ | His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.
But his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul within him shall mourn.
