| 1 | အိုအကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ဘုရားရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ နာမ တော်သည် မြေကြီးတပြင်လုံး၌ အလွန်ကြီးမြတ်တော်မူ ၏။ ဘုန်းအာနုဘော်တော်သည် မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ပေါ်မှာ တည်လျက်ရှိပါ၏။ | O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. |
| 2 | ကိုယ်တော်၏ရန်သူတို့ကို ရည်ဆောင်၍ ရန်သူ ကို၎င်း၊ အငြိုးထားသောသူကို၎င်း၊ တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေစေ ခြင်းငှါ၊ နို့စို့သူငယ်တို့၏နှုတ်ထဲမှ အစွမ်းသတ္တိကို စီရင် တော်မူ၏။ | Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. |

| 4 | လူသည် အဘယ်သို့သော သူဖြစ်၍၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အောက်မေ့တော်မူရသနည်း။ လူသားသည် အဘယ်သို့သော သူဖြစ်၍ အကြည့်အရှု ကြွလာတော်မူရ သနည်း။ သူ့ကို ကောင်းကင်တမန်တို့အောက်၌ အနည်း ငယ်နှိမ့်တော်မူပြီ။ | What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? |
| 5 | သူ၏ခေါင်းကို ဘုန်းအသရေနှင့် ပတ်ရစ်တော် မူပြီ။ | For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. |

| 8 | ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့ကို သူ၏ခြေအောက်၌ ချထားတော်မူပြီ။ | The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. |
