| 1 | ငါတို့ အစွမ်းသတ္တိတည်းဟူသော ဘုရားသခင် အား ရွှင်လန်းစွာ သီချင်းဆိုကြလော့။ ယာကုပ်အမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင်အား ကျူးဧသော အသံကို ပြုကြလော့။ | Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. |
| 2 | တုရိယာမျိုးကိုဆောင်ကြ။ ပတ်သာကို၎င်း၊ သာယာသော စောင်းနှင့်တယောကို၎င်း ယူခဲ့ကြ။ | Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery. |
| 3 | လဆန်းနေ့၊ လပြည့်နေ့၊ ပွဲသဘင်နေ့၌ တံပိုး မှုတ်ကြ။ | Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day. |
| 4 | ထိုသို့ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၌ထုံးဖွဲ့၍၊ ယာကုပ် အမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ဆုံးဖြတ်တော်မူ၏။ | For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob. |
| 5 | နားမလည်သော စကားကိုကြားရာအရပ်၊ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်တဘက်၌ ကြွသွားတော်မူသောအခါ၊ ယောသပ်အမျိုး၌ ထိုသို့သော သက်သေခံချက်ကို စီရင် တော်မူ၏။ | This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not. |
| 6 | ငါသည်သူ၏ ပခုံးကိုဝန်နှင့် လွတ်စေ၏။ သူ၏ လက်ကိုလည်း တင်ခြင်းတို့ အထဲက နှုတ်ယူ၏။ | I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots. |
| 7 | သင်သည်ဒုက္ခကိုခံရသောအခါ၊ ငါ့ကိုခေါ်၍ ငါသည်ချမ်းသာပေး၏။ မထင်ရှားသော မိုဃ်းကြိုးနေရာ ၌ ငါပြန်ပြော၏။ မေရိဘရေနားမှာ သင့်ကို ငါစုံစမ်း၏။ | Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah. |
| 8 | ငါ၏လူစု၊ နားထောင်လော့။ ငါမှာထားမည်။ အိုဣသရေလအမျိုး၊ သင်သည် ငါ့စကားကို နားထောင် ပါစေသော။ | Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me; |
| 9 | သင်၌ တပါးအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားမရှိရ။ တကျွန်း တနိုင်ငံဘုရားကို မကိုးကွယ်ရ။ | There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god. |
| 10 | ငါသည်သင့်ကို အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ ကယ်နှုတ်ဆောင် ယူခဲ့ပြီးသော သင်၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏။ သင်၏နှုတ်ကို ကျယ်ကျယ်ဖွင့်လော့။ ဝပြောစွာ ကျွေး မည်။ | I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. |
| 11 | ငါ၏လူများမူကား၊ ငါ့စကားကို နားမထောင် ကြ။ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသည် ငါ့ကိုအလိုမရှိကြပါတကား။ | But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me. |
| 12 | ငါသည်လည်း ထိုသူတို့ကို သူတို့နှလုံးခိုင်မာ ခြင်း၌ အပ်၍၊ သူတို့သည် မိမိတို့အလိုသို့ လိုက်ကြ၏။ | So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels. |
| 13 | ငါ၏လူစုသည် ငါ့စကားကို နားထောင်၍၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသည် ငါ့လမ်း၌ လိုက်ပါစေသော။ | Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways! |
| 14 | လိုက်လျှင် ငါသည်သူတို့ရန်သူများကို အလျင် အမြန် နှိပ်စက်၍၊ ရန်ဘက်ပြုသောသူတို့ကို ဒဏ်ခတ် မည်။ | I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries. |
| 15 | ထာဝရဘုရားကို မုန်းသောသူတို့သည် တောင်း ပန်ခြင်းကို ပြု၍၊ ငါ၏လူတို့သည်လည်း၊ အစဉ်အမြဲ တည်ရသော အခွင့်ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။ | The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever. |
| 16 | အကောင်းဆုံးသော ဆန်စပါးနှင့် ငါကျွေးမည်။ ကျောက်ထဲက ထွက်သောပျားရည်နှင့်လည်း ဝပြော စေမည်။ | He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee. |
