| 1 | အကျွန်ုပ်ကိုဖြောင့်မတ်စေတော်မူသော ဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ခေါ်သောအခါ နားထောင်တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် သည်ဆင်းရဲစဉ်တွင် ကိုယ်တော်သည် ချမ်းသာပေးတော် မူပါပြီ။ ယခုလည်းသနား၍ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ပဌနာစကား ကို နားထောင်တော်မူပါ။ | Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. |
| 2 | အချင်းလူသားတို့၊ အဘယ်မျှ ကာလပတ်လုံး ငါ၏ဘုန်းကို ရှုတ်ချကြမည်နည်း။ အဘယ်မျှကာလပတ် လုံး အနတ္တကို နှစ်သက်၍ မုသာကို လိုက်ရှာကြမည် နည်း။ | O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. |
| 3 | ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မိမိသန့်ရှင်းသူကို ရွေးထား တော်မူသည်ကို သိမှတ်ကြလော့။ ငါခေါ်၍ လျှောက် သောအခါ၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် နားထောင်တော်မူလိမ့် မည်။ | But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. |
| 4 | ကြောက်ရွံ့တုန်လှုပ်၍ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်ကို ရှောင် ကြလော့။ အိပ်ရာပေါ်မှာ ကိုယ်စိတ်နှလုံးနှင့် ဆွေးနွေး စဉ်းစား၍ တိတ်ဆိတ်ခြင်းရှိကြလော့။ | Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. |
| 5 | တရားသဖြင့်ယဇ်ပူဇော်၍ ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကိုးစားကြလော့။ | Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. |
| 6 | ကောင်းမွန်သော အရာကို ငါတို့အား အဘယ် သူပြမည်နည်းဟု မေးတတ်သော သူအများရှိပါသည် ဖြစ်၍၊ အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ မျက်နှာတော်အလင်းကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အပေါ်မှာ ပေါ်ထွန်းစေတော်မူပါ။ | There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. |
| 7 | သူတို့၌ ဆန်စပါး၊ စပျစ်ရည်ပေါများ၍၊ သူတို့ ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်းရှိသည်ထက် အကျွန်ုပ်ကိုသာ၍ ဝမ်း မြောက်စေတော်မူ၏။ | Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. |
| 8 | ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာအိပ်၍ ပျော်ပါမည်။ အကြောင်းမူ ကား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် လုံခြုံစွာနေရသောအခွင့်ကို ကိုယ် တော်အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရားသာလျှင် အခွင့်ပေးတော်မူ၏။ | I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. |
