| 1 | ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါ၏အလင်း၊ ငါ့ကို ကယ်တင်သော အရှင်ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ငါသည် အဘယ် သူကို ကြောက်ရအံ့နည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါ့၏ အသက်ခိုလှုံရာဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ငါသည် အဘယ်သူကိုမျှ ကြောက်လန့်ရအံ့နည်း။ | The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? |
| 2 | ငါ့ကိုအငြိုးထားသော ရန်သူလူဆိုးတို့သည်၊ ငါ့အသားကို ကိုက်စားမည်ဟု လာကြသောအခါ၊ ခြေ တိုက်မိ၍ လဲကြ၏။ | When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. |
| 3 | ငါတဘက်၌ တပ်ချကြသော်လည်း၊ ငါ့နှလုံး မကြောက်တတ်။ စစ်ချီ၍လာကြသော်လည်း၊ ထိုအမှုတွင် ပင် တည်ကြည်သော စိတ်ရှိလိမ့်မည်။ | Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. |
| 4 | ထာဝရဘုရား၏ တင့်တယ်ခြင်း အသရေတော် ကို ဖူးမြင်၍၊ ဗိမာန်တော်၌ မွေ့လျော်ခြင်းအလိုငှါ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အိမ်တော်မှာ တသက်လုံးနေရမည် အကြောင်းတည်းဟူသော အခွင့်တခုကို ထာဝရဘုရား၌ ငါဆုတောင်းပြီ။ ထိုအခွင့်ကို ရှာရဦးမည်။ | One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. |
| 5 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဘေးအန္တရာယ်ရောက်သည့် ကာလ၊ တဲတော်တွင် ငါ့ကို ကိုးကွယ်တော်မူမည်။ ဗိမာန် တော်အတွင်းအရပ်၌၊ ငါ့ကို ဝှက်ထားတော်မူမည်။ ကျောက်ပေါ်မှာလည်း ငါ့ကိုတင်ထားတော်မူမည်။ | For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. |
| 6 | ယခုပင် ငါ့ပတ်လည်၌ရှိသော ရန်သူတို့၏ အပေါ်သို့ ငါ့၏ဦးခေါင်းကို ချီးမြှောက်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုကြောင့် ဗိမာန်တော်မှာ တံပိုးမှုတ်ခြင်းနှင့်တကွ ယဇ် ပူဇော်ပါမည်။ သီချင်းဆိုပါမည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို ထောမနာသီချင်းဆိုပါမည်။ | And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord. |
| 7 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်အောဟစ်သော အသံကိုနားထောင်တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို သနား၍ ထူးတော်မူပါ။ | Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. |
| 8 | ငါ၏မျက်နှာကို ရှာကြလော့ဟူသော အမိန့် တော်ကို ရှေ့တော်၌ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် သတိပြုလျက်၊ အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ မျက်နှာကို ရှာပါမည်။ | When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek. |
| 9 | အကျွန်ုပ်ကို မျက်နှာလွှဲတော်မမူပါနှင့်။ အမျက် ထွက်၍ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ကျွန်ကိုပယ်တော်မမူပါနှင့်။ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ကယ်တင်တော်မူသောဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို မစတော်မူဘူးသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို စွန့်ပစ်တော်မမူပါနှင့်။ | Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. |
| 10 | ကိုယ်မိဘတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကိုစွန့်သော်လည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ချီယူတော်မူမည်။ | When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. |
| 11 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏လမ်းကို အကျွန်ုပ်အား ပြသသွန်သင်တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ရန်သူတို့ကြောင့် ဖြောင့်သောလမ်းထဲ၌ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ပို့ဆောင်တော်မူပါ။ | Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. |
| 12 | မမှန်သောသက်သေကို ခံသောသူတို့နှင့် ညှဉ်း ဆဲခြင်းငှါ၊ ပြင်းစွာ အသက်ရှူသော သူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တဘက်၌ ထကြသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ရန်သူတို့အလိုသို့ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို အပ်နှံတော်မမူပါနှင့်။ | Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. |
| 13 | အကယ်စင်စစ် အသက်ရှင်သောသူတို့၏ နေရာတွင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ငါတွေ့မြင် ပြီဟု ယုံမှတ်စွဲလမ်းခြင်းရှိ၏။ | I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. |
| 14 | ထာဝရဘုရားကို မြော်လင့်လော့။ အားယူ၍ ရဲရင့်သော စိတ်နှလုံးရှိလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို မြော်လင့် လျက်နေလော့။ | Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. |
