| 1 | မတရားသောသူတို့၏ တိုက်တွန်းခြင်းသို့ မလိုက်၊ | Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. |
| 2 | လူဆိုးတို့၏ လမ်းတွင်မရပ်မနေ၊ မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသော သူတို့၏ အစည်းအဝေး၌မထိုင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ တရားတော်၌ မွေ့လျော်၍၊ တရားတော်ကို နေ့ညဉ့်မပြတ် ဆင်ခြင်အောက်မေ့သောသူသည် မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။ | But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. |
| 3 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသူသည် မြစ်နားမှာ စိုက်လျက် မိမိအချိန်တန်မှ အသီးကိုသီး၍၊ အရွက်မညှိုး နွမ်းတတ်သော အပင်နှင့်တူ၏။ ပြုလေသမျှတို့၌ အောင်လိမ့်သတည်း။ | And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. |
| 4 | မတရားသော သူတို့မူကား ထိုကဲ့သို့မဟုတ်။ လေတိုက်၍ လွင့်သောဖွဲနှင့်တူကြ၏။ | The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. |
| 5 | ထိုကြောင့် တရားဆုံးဖြတ်တော်မူရာကာလ၌၊ မတရားသောသူတို့သည် မတည်မနေရကြ။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သော သူတို့၏အပေါင်းအသင်းထဲသို့ လူဆိုးတို့သည် မဝင်ရကြ။ | Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. |
| 6 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူတို့၏ လမ်းကို ထာဝရဘုရားကျွမ်းတော်မူ၏။ မတရားသော သူတို့၏ လမ်းသည်ဆုံးရှုံးခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရလိမ့်သတည်း။ | For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. |
