| 1 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို အကျွန်ုပ် အော်ဟစ်ပါ၏။ အလျင်အမြန် ကြွလာတော်မူပါ။ ကိုယ် တော်ကို အော်ဟစ်သောအခါ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ စကားသံကို နားထောင်တော်မူပါ။ | Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee. |
| 2 | အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ပဌနာသည်မီးရှို့သော နံ့သာပေါင်း ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ လက်ကိုချီခြင်းသည် ညဦးယံပူဇော်သက္ကာ ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ ရှေ့တော်၌ပြင်ဆင်လျက် ရှိပါစေသော။ | Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. |

| 4 | ဒုစရိုက်ကိုပြုသောသူတို့နှင့် အတူအကျွန်ုပ်ပါ၍၊ မတရားသောအမှု၊ ဒုစရိုက်အမျိုးမျိုး၌ ကျင်လည်စေခြင်း ငှါ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏စိတ်နှလုံးကို မကောင်းသောအမှုအရာသို့ သွေးဆောင်တော်မမူပါနှင့်။ ထိုသူတို့၏ ခဲဘွယ်စားဘွယ် တို့ကို အကျွန်ုပ်မစားပါစေနှင့်။ | Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties. |
| 5 | ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူသည်အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ဒဏ်ခတ် ပါစေသော၊ ကျေးဇူးရှိပါလိမ့်မည်။ ဆုံးမပါစေသော၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ဦးခေါင်းကိုလိမ်းသောဆီဖြစ်ပါလိမ့်မည်။ ထပ်၍ ပြုသော်လည်း အကျွန်ုပ်မငြင်းပါ။ ယခုမူကား၊ သူတပါး ပြုသော အဓမ္မအမှုတဘက်၌ ဆုတောင်းရပါ၏။ | Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities. |
| 6 | သူတို့၏အကဲအမှုးတို့သည် ကျောက်တွင်းနားမှ လွတ်၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏စကားကို ကြားရကြပါ၏။ ထိုစကား လည်း ချိုပါ၏။ | When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet. |
| 7 | မြေပေါ်မှာထင်းကိုခုတ်၍ခွဲသကဲ့သို့၊ မရဏာ နိုင်ငံတံခါးဝမှာ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ အရိုးများတို့သည် ကွဲပြား လျက်ရှိကြပါ၏။ | Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth. |
| 8 | အိုဘုရားရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်မျှော်ကြည့်ပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်၌ခိုလှုံပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်၏အသက်ကို သွန်ပစ်စေတော်မမူပါနှင့်။ | But mine eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute. |
| 9 | အကျွန်ုပ်ဘို့ ထောင်ထားကြသောကျော့ကွင်းမှ ၎င်း၊ ဒုစရိုက်ကို ပြုသောသူတို့၏ညွှတ်မှ၎င်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို လွတ်စေတော်မူပါ။ | Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity. |
| 10 | ထိုသို့အကျွန်ုပ်သည်လွန်သွားသောအခါ၊ မတရားသော သူအပေါင်းတို့သည် မိမိတို့ကျော်ကွင်းထဲသို့ ကျကြပါစေသော။ | Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape. |
