| 1 | イエズス[神]殿を出でて往き給ひけるに、弟子等[神]殿の構造を示さんとて近づきしかば、 | And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. |
| 2 | 答へて曰ひけるは、汝等此一切の物を見るか、我誠に汝等に告ぐ、此處には一の石も崩れずして石の上に遺されじ、と。 | And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. |
| 3 | 斯て橄欖山に坐し給へるに、弟子等竊に近づきて云ひけるは、此事等のあらんは何時なるぞ、又汝の再臨と世の終との兆は何なるぞ。 | And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? |
| 4 | イエズス答へて曰ひけるは、汝等人に惑はされじと注意せよ、 | And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. |
| 5 | 其は多くの人我名を冒し來りて、我はキリストなりと云ひて、多くの人を惑はすべければなり。 | For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. |
| 6 | 即汝等戰闘と戰闘の風説を聞かん、而も慎みて心を騒がす事勿れ、是等の事蓋あるべし、然れど終は未至らざるなり。 | And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. |
| 7 | 即民は民に、國は國に立逆らひ、又疫病飢饉地震處々にあらん、 | For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. |
| 8 | 是皆苦の初なり。 | All these are the beginning of sorrows. |
| 9 | 其時人々汝等を困難に陥入れ、又死に處し、汝等我名の為に萬民に憎まれん。 | Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. |
| 10 | 其時多くの人躓きて、互に反應し互に憎み、 | And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. |
| 11 | 又僞預言者多く起りて、多くの人を惑はさん、 | And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. |
| 12 | 且不義の溢れたるによりて、多數の人の愛冷えん、 | And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. |
| 13 | 然れど終まで耐忍ぶ人は救はるべし。 | But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. |
| 14 | [天]國の此福音は、萬民に證として全世界に宣傳へられん、斯て後終は至るべし。 | And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. |
| 15 | 然れば汝等、預言者ダニエルに託りて告げられし「最憎むべき荒廃」が聖所に厳然たるを見ば、 | When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) |
| 16 | 読む人悟るべし。其時ユデアに居る人は山に遁るべし、 | Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains: |
| 17 | 屋根に居る人は、其家より何物をか取出ださんとて下るべからず、 | Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: |
| 18 | 畑に居る人は、其上着を取らんとて歸るべからず。 | Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. |
| 19 | 其日に當りて懐胎せる人、乳を哺まする人は禍なる哉。 | And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! |
| 20 | 汝等の遁ぐる事の、或は冬、或は安息日に當らざらん事を祈れ。 | But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: |
| 21 | 其時には、世の始より曾て無く、又後にも有るまじき程の、大なる患難あるべければなり。 | For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. |
| 22 | 其日若縮められずば、救はるる人なからん、然れど其日は、選まれたる人々の為に縮めらるべし。 | And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. |
| 23 | 其時若人ありて汝等に、「看よキリストは此處に在り、彼處に在り」と云ふとも信ずること勿れ、 | Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. |
| 24 | 其は僞キリスト及僞預言者起りて、大なる徴と奇蹟とを行ひ、能ふべくんば選まれたる人々をさへも惑はさんとすべければなり。 | For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. |
| 25 | 我預之を汝等に告げたるぞ。然れば汝等假令、「看よキリストは荒野に在り」と云はるとも出ること勿れ、 | Behold, I have told you before. |
| 26 | 「看よ奥室に在り」と云はるとも信ずること勿れ、 | Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. |
| 27 | 其は電光の東より出て西にまで見ゆる如く、人の子の來るも亦然るべければなり。 | For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. |
| 28 | 総て屍の在る處には鷲も亦集らん。 | For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. |
| 29 | 此日々の患難の後、直に日晦み、月其光を與へず、星天より隕ち、天の能力総て動揺せん。 | Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: |
| 30 | 其時人の子の徴空に現れん。其時又地の民族悉く哭き、人の子が大なる能力と威光とを以て空の雲に乗り來るを見ん。 | And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. |
| 31 | 彼聲高き喇叭を持てる己が天使等を遣はし、天の此涯まで、四方より其選まれし人々を集めしめん。 | And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. |
| 32 | 汝等無花果樹より喩を學べ、其枝既に柔ぎて葉の生ずる時、汝等は夏の近きを知る。 | Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: |
| 33 | 斯の如く、此一切の事を見ば、既に門に近しと知れ。 | So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. |
| 34 | 我誠に汝等に告ぐ、是等の事の皆成る迄は、現代は過ぎざらん。 | Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. |
| 35 | 天地は過ぎん、然れど我言は過ぎざるべし。 | Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. |
| 36 | 其日其時をば何人も知らず、天使すらも知らず、知り給へるは唯父獨のみ。 | But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. |
| 37 | ノエの日に於る如く、人の子の來るも亦然らん。 | But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. |
| 38 | 即洪水の前の頃、ノエの方舟に入る其日までも、人々飲み食ひ娶り嫁ぎして、 | For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, |
| 39 | 洪水來りて悉く彼等を引浚ふまで知らざりし如く、人の子の來るも亦然らん。 | And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. |
| 40 | 其時二人畑に在らんに、一人は取られ一人は遺されん。 | Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. |
| 41 | 二人の女磨を挽き居らんに、一人は取られ一人は遺されん。 | Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. |
| 42 | 然れば汝等警戒せよ、汝等の主の來り給ふは何れの時なるかを知らざればなり。 | Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. |
| 43 | 汝等之を知れ、家父若盗賊の來るべき時を知らば、必警戒して其家を穿たせじ。 | But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. |
| 44 | 然れば汝等も用意してあれ、汝等の知らざる時に人の子來るべければなり。 | Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. |
| 45 | 時に應じて糧を其僕等に與へさせんとて、主人が彼等の上に立てたる、忠誠怜悧なる僕を誰と思ふぞ。 | Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? |
| 46 | 其主人の來らん時、然するを見出されたる僕は福なり。 | Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. |
| 47 | 我誠に汝等に告ぐ、主人は其凡ての所有を是に宰らしめん。 | Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. |
| 48 | 然れど若彼惡しき僕、心の中に「主人の來ること遅し」と謂ひて、 | But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; |
| 49 | 其同輩に殴掛り、酒徒と酒食を共にせば、 | And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; |
| 50 | 其僕の主人、彼が思はざる日、知らざる時に來りて、 | The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, |
| 51 | 之を處罰し、其報を僞善者と同じうすべし、其處には痛哭と切歯とあらん。 | And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |
