| 1 | 汝等の中に相関係せる事件ある時、其審判を聖徒に願はずして、正しからざる人々に願ふ事を敢てする者あるは何ぞや。 | Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? |
| 2 | 聖徒は此世を審くべき者なりと知らずや、然れば世は汝等より審かるべきに、汝等は、極めて些細なる事を審くに足らざるか。 | Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? |
| 3 | 知らずや我等は天使等を審くべき者なり、况や世の事をや。 | Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? |
| 4 | 故に若審くべき此世の事件あらば、之を審く為に教會内の卑しき人々を立てよ。 | If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. |
| 5 | 斯く言へるは汝等を辱しめんとてなり。然らば其兄弟の間の事を審くべき賢き者、汝等の中に一人も在らざるか。 | I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? |
| 6 | 然るを兄弟兄弟を相手取りて、而も不信者の前に訴訟を起す。 | But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. |
| 7 | 互に訴訟のある事すら、既に疑もなく汝等の中の失態なり。何故に寧不義を受けざる、何故に寧害を忍ばざる、 | Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? |
| 8 | 却て汝等自ら不義と詐欺とを為し、而も兄弟に對して之を為せるは何ぞや。 | Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. |
| 9 | 不義者は神の國を得る事なしと知らずや。誤ること勿れ、私通者も、偶像崇拝者も、姦淫者も、 | Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, |
| 10 | 男娼も、男色者も、盗賊も、貪慾者も、酩酊者も、侮辱者も、掠奪者も、神の國を得ざるべし。 | Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. |
| 11 | 汝等の中の或人々、曩には斯の如き者なりしかど、我主イエズス、キリストの御名により、又我神の霊によりて、既に洗潔められ、聖とせられ、義とせられたり。 | And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. |
| 12 | 何事も我に可なりと雖も、皆益あるには非ず。何事も我に可なりと雖も、我は決して何物の奴隷ともならじ。 | All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. |
| 13 | 食物は腹の為、腹は食物の為なれども、神は此も彼も共に亡ぼし給ふべし。肉體は私通の為に非ずして主の為なり、主も亦肉體の為なり。 | Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. |
| 14 | 抑神は主を復活せしめ給ひたれば、御能力を以て我等をも亦復活せしめ給ふべし。 | And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. |
| 15 | 汝等の體はキリストの肢なりと知らずや、然らばキリストの肢を奪ひて娼婦の肢と為さんか、[否々]。 | Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. |
| 16 | 娼婦に着く人は之と一體になると知らずや、即ち曰く、「二人一體に在らん」と、 | What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. |
| 17 | 然れど主に着く人は一の霊となるなり。 | But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. |
| 18 | 私通を避けよ、人の犯す罪は何れも身の外に在れども、私通する人は己が身を犯すなり。 | Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. |
| 19 | 又汝等の五體は神より賜はりて、汝等の中に在す聖霊の神殿なる事、汝等が汝等自らのものに非ざる事を知らざるか。 | What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? |
| 20 | 蓋汝等は高價を以て買はれたり、己が身に於て神に光榮を歸し奉れ。 | For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. |
