| 2 | あなたのいつくしみはとこしえに堅く立ち、あなたのまことは天のようにゆるぐことはありません。 | For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens. |
| 3 | あなたは言われました、「わたしはわたしの選んだ者と契約を結び、わたしのしもべダビデに誓った、 | I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, |
| 4 | 『わたしはあなたの子孫をとこしえに堅くし、あなたの王座を建てて、よろずよに至らせる』」。[セラ | Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. |

| 7 | 主は聖なる者の会議において恐るべき神、そのまわりにあるすべての者にまさって大いなる恐るべき者です。 | God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. |
| 8 | 万軍の神、主よ、主よ、だれかあなたのように大能のある者があるでしょうか。あなたのまことは、あなたをめぐっています。 | O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee? |
| 9 | あなたは海の荒れるのを治め、その波の起るとき、これを静められます。 | Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them. |
| 10 | あなたはラハブを、殺された者のように打ち砕き、あなたの敵を力ある腕をもって散らされました。 | Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm. |
| 11 | もろもろの天はあなたのもの、地もまたあなたのもの、世界とその中にあるものとはあなたがその基をおかれたものです。 | The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them. |

| 14 | 義と公平はあなたのみくらの基、いつくしみと、まことはあなたの前に行きます。 | Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. |
| 15 | 祭の日の喜びの声を知る民はさいわいです。主よ、彼らはみ顔の光のなかを歩み、 | Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance. |
| 16 | ひねもす、み名によって喜び、あなたの義をほめたたえます。 | In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. |
| 17 | あなたは彼らの力の栄光だからです。われらの角はあなたの恵みによって高くあげられるでしょう。 | For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. |

| 21 | わが手は常に彼と共にあり、わが腕はまた彼を強くする。 | With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. |
| 22 | 敵は彼をだますことなく、悪しき者は彼を卑しめることはない。 | The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. |
| 23 | わたしは彼の前にもろもろのあだを打ち滅ぼし、彼を憎む者どもを打ち倒す。 | And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. |
| 24 | わがまことと、わがいつくしみは彼と共にあり、わが名によって彼の角は高くあげられる。 | But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted. |
| 25 | わたしは彼の手を海の上におき、彼の右の手を川の上におく。 | I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. |
| 26 | 彼はわたしにむかい『あなたはわが父、わが神、わが救の岩』と呼ぶであろう。 | He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. |
| 27 | わたしはまた彼をわがういごとし、地の王たちのうちの最も高い者とする。 | Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. |
| 28 | わたしはとこしえに、わがいつくしみを彼のために保ち、わが契約は彼のために堅く立つ。 | My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him. |
| 29 | わたしは彼の家系をとこしえに堅く定め、その位を天の日数のようにながらえさせる。 | His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven. |
| 30 | もしその子孫がわがおきてを捨て、わがさばきに従って歩まないならば、 | If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments; |
| 31 | もし彼らがわが定めを犯し、わが戒めを守らないならば、 | If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments; |
| 32 | わたしはつえをもって彼らのとがを罰し、むちをもって彼らの不義を罰する。 | Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. |
| 33 | しかし、わたしはわがいつくしみを彼から取り去ることなく、わがまことにそむくことはない。 | Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. |
| 34 | わたしはわが契約を破ることなく、わがくちびるから出た言葉を変えることはない。 | My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. |
| 35 | わたしはひとたびわが聖によって誓った。わたしはダビデに偽りを言わない。 | Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. |
| 36 | 彼の家系はとこしえに続き、彼の位は太陽のように常にわたしの前にある。 | His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. |
| 37 | また月のようにとこしえに堅く定められ、大空の続くかぎり堅く立つ」。[セラ | It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah. |
| 38 | しかしあなたは、あなたの油そそがれた者を捨ててしりぞけ、彼に対して激しく怒られました。 | But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed. |
| 39 | あなたはそのしもべとの契約を廃棄し、彼の冠を地になげうって、けがされました。 | Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground. |

| 48 | だれか生きて死を見ず、その魂を陰府の力から救いうるものがあるでしょうか。[セラ | What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah. |
| 49 | 主よ、あなたがまことをもってダビデに誓われた昔のいつくしみはどこにありますか。 | Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth? |
| 50 | — | Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people; |
| 51 | 主よ、あなたのしもべがうけるはずかしめをみこころにとめてください。主よ、あなたのもろもろの敵はわたしをそしり、あなたの油そそがれた者の足跡をそしります。わたしはもろもろの民のそしりをわたしのふところにいだいているのです。 | Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O Lord; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed. |
