| 2 | わたしのいのちをお守りください。わたしは神を敬う者だからです。あなたに信頼するあなたのしもべをお救いください。あなたはわたしの神です。 | Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. |
| 3 | 主よ、わたしをあわれんでください。わたしはひねもすあなたに呼ばわります。 | Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. |
| 4 | あなたのしもべの魂を喜ばせてください。主よ、わが魂はあなたを仰ぎ望みます。 | Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. |

| 15 | しかし主よ、あなたはあわれみと恵みに富み、怒りをおそくし、いつくしみと、まこととに豊かな神でいらせられます。 | But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. |
