| 2 | わが魂は絶えいるばかりに主の大庭を慕い、わが心とわが身は生ける神にむかって喜び歌います。 | My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. |
| 3 | すずめがすみかを得、つばめがそのひなをいれる巣を得るように、万軍の主、わが王、わが神よ、あなたの祭壇のかたわらにわがすまいを得させてください。 | Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God. |
| 4 | あなたの家に住み、常にあなたをほめたたえる人はさいわいです。[セラ | Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah. |

| 9 | 神よ、われらの盾をみそなわし、あなたの油そそがれた者の顔をかえりみてください。 | Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed. |
| 10 | あなたの大庭にいる一日は、よそにいる千日にもまさるのです。わたしは悪の天幕にいるよりは、むしろ、わが神の家の門守となることを願います。 | For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. |
| 11 | 主なる神は日です、盾です。主は恵みと誉とを与え、直く歩む者に良い物を拒まれることはありません。 | For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. |
