| 2 | わが心のくずおれるとき、わたしは地のはてからあなたに呼ばわります。わたしを導いてわたしの及びがたいほどの高い岩にのぼらせてください。 | From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. |
| 3 | あなたはわたしの避け所、敵に対する堅固なやぐらです。 | For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. |
| 4 | わたしをとこしえにあなたの幕屋に住まわせ、あなたの翼の陰にのがれさせてください。[セラ | I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. |
| 5 | 神よ、あなたはわたしのもろもろの誓いを聞き、み名を恐れる者に賜わる嗣業をわたしに与えられました。 | For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. |
| 6 | どうか王のいのちを延ばし、そのよわいをよろずよに至らせてください。 | Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: and his years as many generations. |
| 7 | 彼をとこしえに神の前に王たらしめ、いつくしみとまこととに命じて彼を守らせてください。 | He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him. |
| 8 | そうすればわたしはとこしえにみ名をほめうたい、日ごとにわたしのもろもろの誓いを果すでしょう。 | So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows. |
