| 1 | 力ある者よ、何ゆえあなたは神を敬う人に与えた災について誇るのか。あなたはひねもす人を滅ぼすことをたくらむ。 | Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. |
| 2 | 虚偽を行う者よ、あなたの舌は鋭いかみそりのようだ。 | Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. |
| 3 | あなたは善よりも悪を好み、まことを語るよりも偽りを語ることを好む。[セラ | Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. |
| 4 | 欺きの舌よ、あなたはすべての滅ぼす言葉を好む。 | Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue. |
| 5 | しかし神はとこしえにあなたを砕き、あなたを捕えて、その天幕から引き離し、生ける者の地から、あなたの根を絶やされる。[セラ | God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah. |

| 9 | あなたがこの事をなされたので、わたしはとこしえに、あなたに感謝し、聖徒の前であなたのみ名をふれ示そう。これはよいことだからである。 | I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints. |
