| 1 | 神よ、あなたのいつくしみによって、わたしをあわれみ、あなたの豊かなあわれみによって、わたしのもろもろのとがをぬぐい去ってください。 | Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. |
| 2 | わたしの不義をことごとく洗い去り、わたしの罪からわたしを清めてください。 | Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. |
| 3 | わたしは自分のとがを知っています。わたしの罪はいつもわたしの前にあります。 | For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. |
| 4 | わたしはあなたにむかい、ただあなたに罪を犯し、あなたの前に悪い事を行いました。それゆえ、あなたが宣告をお与えになるときは正しく、あなたが人をさばかれるときは誤りがありません。 | Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. |

| 6 | 見よ、あなたは真実を心のうちに求められます。それゆえ、わたしの隠れた心に知恵を教えてください。 | Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. |
| 7 | ヒソプをもって、わたしを清めてください、わたしは清くなるでしょう。わたしを洗ってください、わたしは雪よりも白くなるでしょう。 | Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. |
| 8 | わたしに喜びと楽しみとを満たし、あなたが砕いた骨を喜ばせてください。 | Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. |
| 9 | み顔をわたしの罪から隠し、わたしの不義をことごとくぬぐい去ってください。 | Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. |
| 10 | 神よ、わたしのために清い心をつくり、わたしのうちに新しい、正しい霊を与えてください。 | Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. |
| 11 | わたしをみ前から捨てないでください。あなたの聖なる霊をわたしから取らないでください。 | Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. |
| 12 | あなたの救の喜びをわたしに返し、自由の霊をもって、わたしをささえてください。 | Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. |
| 13 | そうすればわたしは、とがを犯した者にあなたの道を教え、罪びとはあなたに帰ってくるでしょう。 | Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. |
| 14 | 神よ、わが救の神よ、血を流した罪からわたしを助け出してください。わたしの舌は声高らかにあなたの義を歌うでしょう。 | Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. |
| 15 | 主よ、わたしのくちびるを開いてください。わたしの口はあなたの誉をあらわすでしょう。 | O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. |
| 16 | あなたはいけにえを好まれません。たといわたしが燔祭をささげてもあなたは喜ばれないでしょう。 | For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. |
| 17 | 神の受けられるいけにえは砕けた魂です。神よ、あなたは砕けた悔いた心をかろしめられません。 | The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. |
| 18 | あなたのみこころにしたがってシオンに恵みを施し、エルサレムの城壁を築きなおしてください。 | Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. |
| 19 | その時あなたは義のいけにえと燔祭と、全き燔祭とを喜ばれるでしょう。その時あなたの祭壇に雄牛がささげられるでしょう。 | Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. |
