| 1 | とがは悪しき者にむかい、その心のうちに言う。その目の前に神を恐れる恐れはない。 | The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. |
| 2 | 彼は自分の不義があらわされないため、また憎まれないために、みずからその目でおもねる。 | For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. |
| 3 | その口の言葉はよこしまと欺きである。彼は知恵を得ることと、善を行う事とをやめた。 | The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good. |
| 4 | 彼はその床の上でよこしまな事をたくらみ、よからぬ道に身をおいて、悪をきらわない。 | He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil. |
| 5 | 主よ、あなたのいつくしみは天にまで及び、あなたのまことは雲にまで及ぶ。 | Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. |
| 6 | あなたの義は神の山のごとく、あなたのさばきは大きな淵のようだ。主よ、あなたは人と獣とを救われる。 | Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast. |
| 7 | 神よ、あなたのいつくしみはいかに尊いことでしょう。人の子らはあなたの翼のかげに避け所を得、 | How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. |
| 8 | あなたの家の豊かなのによって飽き足りる。あなたはその楽しみの川の水を彼らに飲ませられる。 | They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. |
| 9 | いのちの泉はあなたのもとにあり、われらはあなたの光によって光を見る。 | For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. |
| 10 | どうか、あなたを知る者に絶えずいつくしみを施し、心の直き者に絶えず救を施してください。 | O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart. |
| 11 | 高ぶる者の足がわたしを踏み、悪しき者の手がわたしを追い出すことをゆるさないでください。 | Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me. |
| 12 | 悪を行う者はそこに倒れ、彼らは打ち伏せられて、起きあがることはできない。 | There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise. |
