| 2 | 彼らは心のうちに悪い事をはかり、絶えず戦いを起します。 | Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war. |
| 3 | 彼らはへびのようにおのが舌を鋭くし、そのくちびるの下にはまむしの毒があります。[セラ | They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders’ poison is under their lips. Selah. |
| 4 | 主よ、わたしを保って、悪しき人の手からのがれさせ、わたしを守って、わが足をつまずかせようとする乱暴な人々からのがれさせてください。 | Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings. |
| 5 | 高ぶる者はわたしのためにわなを伏せ、綱をもって網を張り、道のほとりにわなを設けました。[セラ | The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah. |

| 7 | わが救の力、主なる神よ、あなたは戦いの日に、わがこうべをおおわれました。 | O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle. |
| 8 | 主よ、悪しき人の願いをゆるさないでください。その悪しき計画をとげさせないでください。[セラ | Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah. |
| 9 | わたしを囲む者がそのこうべをあげるとき、そのくちびるの害悪で彼らをおおってください。 | As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them. |
| 10 | 燃える炭を彼らの上に落してください。彼らを穴に投げ入れ、再び上がることのできないようにしてください。 | Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again. |
| 11 | 悪口を言う者を世に立たせないでください。乱暴な人をすみやかに災に追い捕えさせてください」。 | Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him. |
| 12 | わたしは主が苦しむ者の訴えをたすけ、貧しい者のために正しいさばきを行われることを知っています。 | I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor. |
| 13 | 正しい人は必ずみ名に感謝し、直き人はみ前に住むでしょう。 | Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence. |
