| 1 | 至上者のもとなる隠れたるところにすまふその人は全能者の蔭にやどらん | He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. |
| 2 | われヱホバのことを宣て ヱホバはわが避所わが城わがよりたのむ神なりといはん | I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. |
| 3 | そは神なんぢを狩人のわなと毒をながす疫癘よりたすけいだしたまふべければなり | Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. |
| 4 | かれその翮をもてなんぢを庇ひたまはん なんぢその翼の下にかくれん その眞實は盾なり干なり | He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. |
| 5 | 夜はおどろくべきことあり晝はとびきたる矢あり | Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; |
| 6 | 幽暗にはあゆむ疫癘あり日午にはそこなふ勵しき疾あり されどなんぢ畏るることあらじ | Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. |
| 7 | 千人はなんぢの左にたふれ萬人はなんぢの右にたふる されどその災害はなんぢに近づくことなからん | A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. |
| 8 | なんぢの眼はただこの事をみるのみ なんぢ惡者のむくいを見ん | Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. |
| 9 | なんぢ曩にいへりヱホバはわが避所なりと なんぢ至上者をその住居となしたれば | Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; |
| 10 | 災害なんぢにいたらず苦難なんぢの幕屋に近づかじ | There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. |
| 11 | そは至上者なんぢのためにその使者輩におほせて 汝があゆむもろもろの道になんぢを守らせ給へばなり | For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. |
| 12 | 彼ら手にてなんぢの足の石にふれざらんために汝をささへん | They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. |
| 13 | なんぢは獅と蝮とをふみ壯獅と蛇とを足の下にふみにじらん | Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. |
| 14 | 彼その愛をわれにそそげるがゆゑに我これを助けん かれわが名をしるがゆゑに我これを高處におかん | Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. |
| 15 | かれ我をよはば我こたへん 我その苦難のときに偕にをりて之をたすけ之をあがめん | He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. |
| 16 | われ長寿をもてかれを足はしめ且わが救をしめさん | With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. |
