1 ああ神よねがはくはなんぢの仁慈によりて我をあはれみ なんぢの憐憫のおほきによりてわがもろもろの愆をけしたまへ Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 わが不義をことごとくあらひさり我をわが罪よりきよめたまへ Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3 われはわが愆をしる わが罪はつねにわが前にあり For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4 我はなんぢにむかひて獨なんぢに罪ををかし聖前にあしきことを行へり されば汝ものいふときは義とせられ なんぢ鞫くときは咎めなしとせられ給ふ Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5 視よわれ邪曲のなかにうまれ罪ありてわが母われをはらみたりき Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 なんぢ眞實をこころの衷にまでのぞみ わが隠れたるところに智慧をしらしめ給はん Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 なんぢヒソブをもて我をきよめたまへ さらばわれ淨まらん 我をあらひたまへ さらばわれ雪よりも白からん Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 なんぢ我によろこびと快樂とをきかせ なんぢが碎きし骨をよろこばせたまへ Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 ねがはくは聖顔をわがすべての罪よりそむけ わがすべての不義をけしたまへ Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 ああ神よわがために清心をつくり わが衷になほき霊をあらたにおこしたまへ Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 われを聖前より棄たまふなかれ 汝のきよき霊をわれより取りたまふなかれ Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 なんぢの救のよろこびを我にかへし自由の霊をあたへて我をたもちたまへ Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 さらばわれ愆ををかせる者になんぢの途ををしへん罪人はなんぢに歸りきたるべし Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 神よわが救のかみよ血をながしし罪より我をたすけいだしたまへ わが舌は聲たからかになんぢの義をうたはん Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 主よわが口唇をひらきたまへ 然ばわが口なんぢの頌美をあらはさん O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 なんぢは祭物をこのみたまはず もし然らずば我これをささげん なんぢまた燔祭をも悦びたまはず For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 神のもとめたまふ祭物はくだけたる霊魂なり 神よなんぢは碎けたる悔しこころを藐しめたまふまじ The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 ねがはくは聖意にしたがひてシオンにさいはひし ヱルサレムの石垣をきづきたまへ Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 その時なんぢ義のそなへものと燔祭と全きはんさいとを悦びたまはん かくて人々なんぢの祭壇に牡牛をささぐべし Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
