| 1 | ヱホバ、シオンの俘囚をかへしたまひし時 われらは夢みるもののごとくなりき | When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. |
| 2 | そのとき笑はわれらの口にみち歌はわれらの舌にみてり ヱホバかれらのために大なることを作たまへりといへる者もろもろの國のなかにありき | Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. |
| 3 | ヱホバわれらのために大なることをなしたまひたれば我儕はたのしめり | The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. |
| 4 | ヱホバよ願くはわれらの俘囚をみなみの川のごとくに歸したまへ | Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south. |
| 5 | 涙とともに播くものは歡喜とともに穫らん | They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. |
| 6 | その人は種をたづさへ涙をながしていでゆけど禾束をたづさへ喜びてかへりきたらん | He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. |
