| 2 | （神いひ給ふ『われ惠の時に汝に聽き、救の日に汝を助けたり』と。視よ、今は惠のとき、視よ、今は救の日なり） | (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) |
| 3 | 我等この職の謗られぬ爲に何事にも人を躓かせず。 | Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: |
| 4 | 反つて凡ての事において神の役者のごとく己をあらはす、即ち患難にも、窮乏にも、苦難にも、 | But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, |
| 5 | 打たるるにも、獄に入るにも、騷擾にも、勞動にも、眠らぬにも、斷食にも、大なる忍耐を用ひ、 | In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; |
| 6 | また廉潔と知識と寛容と仁慈と聖 靈と虚僞なき愛と、 | By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, |
| 7 | 眞の言と神の能力と左右に持ちたる義の武器とにより、 | By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, |
| 8 | また光榮と恥辱と惡名と美名とによりて表す。我らは人を惑す者の如くなれども眞、 | By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; |
| 9 | 人に知られぬ者の如くなれども人に知られ、死なんとする者の如くなれども、視よ、生ける者、懲さるる者の如くなれども殺されず、 | As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; |
| 10 | 憂ふる者の如くなれども常に喜び、貧しき者の如くなれども多くの人を富ませ、何も有たぬ者の如くなれども凡ての物を有てり。 | As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. |
| 11 | コリント人よ、我らの口は汝らに向ひて開け、我らの心は廣くなれり。 | O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. |
| 12 | 汝らの狹くせらるるは我らに因るにあらず、反つて己が心に因るなり。 | Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels. |
| 13 | 汝らも心を廣くして我に報をせよ。（我わが子に對する如く言ふなり） | Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged. |
| 14 | 不 信者と軛を同じうすな、釣合はぬなり、義と不義と何の干與かあらん、光と暗と何の交際かあらん。 | Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? |
| 15 | キリストとベリアルと何の調和かあらん、信者と不 信者と何の關係かあらん。 | And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? |
| 16 | 神の宮と偶像と何の一致かあらん、我らは活ける神の宮なり、即ち神の言ひ給ひしが如し。曰く『われ彼らの中に住み、また歩まん。我かれらの神となり、彼 等わが民とならん』と。 | And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. |
| 17 | この故に『主いひ給ふ、「汝 等かれらの中より出で、之を離れ、穢れたる者に觸るなかれ」と。「さらば我なんぢらを受け、 | Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, |
| 18 | われ汝らの父となり、汝 等わが息子むすめとならん」と、全能の主いひ給ふ』とあるなり。 | And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. |
