절Good News Translation (1992)King James Version

In Praise of God's Goodness
I will always thank the Lord; I will never stop praising him.
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
I will praise him for what he has done; may all who are oppressed listen and be glad! My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
Proclaim with me the Lord's greatness; let us praise his name together! O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me; he freed me from all my fears. I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
The oppressed look to him and are glad; they will never be disappointed. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
The helpless call to him, and he answers; he saves them from all their troubles. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
His angel guards those who honor the Lord and rescues them from danger. The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
Find out for yourself how good the Lord is. Happy are those who find safety with him. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Honor the Lord, all his people; those who obey him have all they need. O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
Even lions go hungry for lack of food, but those who obey the Lord lack nothing good. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
Come, my young friends, and listen to me, and I will teach you to honor the Lord. Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
Would you like to enjoy life? Do you want long life and happiness? What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
Then keep from speaking evil and from telling lies. Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
Turn away from evil and do good; strive for peace with all your heart. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
The Lord watches over the righteous and listens to their cries; The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
but he opposes those who do evil, so that when they die, they are soon forgotten. The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
The righteous call to the Lord, and he listens; he rescues them from all their troubles. The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to those who are discouraged; he saves those who have lost all hope. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Good people suffer many troubles, but the Lord saves them from them all; Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
the Lord preserves them completely; not one of their bones is broken. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
Evil will kill the wicked; those who hate the righteous will be punished. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
The Lord will save his people; those who go to him for protection will be spared. The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
