절	Good News Translation (1992)	King James Version
1	A Hymn of Praise Praise the Lord! Sing a new song to the Lord; praise him in the assembly of his faithful people!	Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
2	Be glad, Israel, because of your Creator; rejoice, people of Zion, because of your king!	Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3	Praise his name with dancing; play drums and harps in praise of him.	Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
4	The Lord takes pleasure in his people; he honors the humble with victory.	For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5	Let God's people rejoice in their triumph and sing joyfully all night long.	Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6	Let them shout aloud as they praise God, with their sharp swords in their hands	Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
7	to defeat the nations and to punish the peoples;	To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8	to bind their kings in chains, their leaders in chains of iron;	To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9	to punish the nations as God has commanded. This is the victory of God's people. Praise the Lord!	To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.
