1	A Call for the Universe to Praise God Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from heaven, you that live in the heights above.	Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
2	Praise him, all his angels, all his heavenly armies.	Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
3	Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, shining stars.	Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
4	Praise him, highest heavens, and the waters above the sky.	Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
5	Let them all praise the name of the Lord! He commanded, and they were created;	Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.
6	by his command they were fixed in their places forever, and they cannot disobey.	He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
7	Praise the Lord from the earth, sea monsters and all ocean depths;	Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
8	lightning and hail, snow and clouds, strong winds that obey his command.	Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
9	Praise him, hills and mountains, fruit trees and forests;	Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
10	all animals, tame and wild, reptiles and birds.	Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:
11	Praise him, kings and all peoples, princes and all other rulers;	Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
12	young women and young men, old people and children too.	Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
13	Let them all praise the name of the Lord! His name is greater than all others; his glory is above earth and heaven.	Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
14	He made his nation strong, so that all his people praise him— the people of Israel, so dear to him. Praise the Lord!	He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.
